I can't fucking take it anymore, /lit/... what the fuck? There's no winning in this world; as someone whose looks could not cut through, you're left ignored, invisible, only seething with indignation over all the make-belief maladies; yet, as the opposite, when you've been blessed with a certain ratio in the face, the lines converge just right, and the finnicky calibrations that can put off a face to be deemed as assymetric aren't present, and you're left with a face sans acne, and hair thick, yet shining as you go,and just the ideal, people begin to chastice you for whatover little folly you have--a day looking not so shimmery, and you've fallen off; you have an ounce of pride over your hard-earned, really hard-earned literary awards and publications, and you're deemed pretentious beyond imagine; when you're accosted by some average looking dolt, and you fire back, you're deemed an asshole, even though defending yourself was wholly justified. I feel like I threaten all the men I encounter, and some primal need to dominate overcomes them, and they only want you as a dumbass fixture in their bar clique, to attract women and raise the stock; and women, by god, women want me... but it's an awful want, a weird desire as well to control completely because of the prickly dating scene these days that's empowering them, and it ends with muddled feelings, connections that are entirely false, lies, all to implement me as a statue with a phallus.

You cannot be beautiful, intelligent and talented. People seem to despise all that good fortune, even though I worked hard for my talent, to go to one place.

I feel like Rimbaud was entirely right in his approach: you need to appear insane... at least that's a cousin to respect, instead of petty envy.
And the fucked up thing is I know how narcisistic this sounds, and I know one young male is gonna read this, and something will flourish in his stomach, some spark of the World just not treating him right, and he'll feel the need to point out the self-involvement of this post (I mean, it's not like everyone else is entirely selfish, right?) and all that low-hanging fruit too.

Someone validate these problems. These problems are real. I know them to be. I've felt them. I've had parties confirm it. These things are making me feel so damn lonely, and I need some works to feel like someone understands.
