That's what I was thinking of doing. My original thought was to begin with my neighbors, then reach out a few streets away, after, to folks that I'm associated with.

An experiment to discover whether one will take the time to read a mysterious (packaged) novel left in front of their doorstep, and as a form of improving my techniques.

Since I am 'using' folks nearby, and folks for whom I am associated with, perhaps I may be able to get them to mention it -- To mention their thoughts and possible concerns regarding this mysterious novel.

I currently live in the state of Michigan. I assumed that the only 'criminal offense' would regard a restraining order if someone were to discover the sender's address (me).

All the while I've remained and idled about my community. A suburb-type within the crust of lonesome MI. I am posting this odd question on this current thread because it seems 'right', concerning Literature-and-the-such.
Here goes...
Out of boredom and a genuine curiosity as to how one would react concerning said strangeness and all-too-mysterious-'novel'-packaged-and-left-behind-by-anon-on-your-doorstep, would this be considered as a criminal offense in any level? Leaving behind a rather morbidly, ambiguous crafting of a psychological stroke concerning a series of (neo-noir-ish) anthologies.

Crafting multiple copies in a rather untraceable fashion and then leaving most of 'em behind, packaged and sitting on folks's doorsteps merely to remain anonymous myself. Leaving a copy sitting on the doorstep of a publisher, listing myself as, once again, 'Anonymous'.

Merely for myself to sit back and overhear what occurs with said craft.

Note: One could label this as a form of, 'social research' and a general sense of doing something 'out of the ordinary'.

What about The Anglo-Saxon Chronicles?
Seems like no one knows much about it.

Believe me, I've read a lot of 'complex' shit. I just want more to do with Norse than Beowulf.

I'm asking if they are reliable sources regarding Norse culture, etc?

And if they're any good reads?

Viking-themed historical fiction, most often, are terrible...

I will admit, I watched it last night, but that's besides the point. I've been interested in Viking history/'literature' for years, just never been able to collect a decent enough list of epics I should check out...

Any of them to note?
I am aware of such works of the likes of Beowulf, Edda, The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, any others out there?

I have always remained, pondering the best possible way to obtain such a wave of individuals who agree with a single idea. Studying history and all of those 'historical revolutions' aimed towards drastically changing a society -- realizing that they all tend to spark by a handful of individuals, those 'idealist'. In the end, said idea expands...so arises the problems. -_-

I seek on exploring the most 'controversial' philosophers throughout history. I am rather familiar with Marx and Nietzsche, any others?

What field?
What bothers you most about popular science?
For me it's that most of their articles are about things which have not happened yet and are pure speculation.
I prefer to read magazine's like Wired which have interesting, well researched in-depth articles about current events.

I'm answering based on things people might reply with.
It's not specifically meant for you.
By the way, would you have said those things if I hadn't preemptively responded to them?

Why are they making those changes?
>Because they are self aware.
So they would act differently if not self aware?
>Yes.
It's not free will then.
It's just another form of stimulus.
>But it comes from the person making the decisions.
It still can't be controlled by them,
you can't really control what you think,
just how you interpret it.
