But i realise online, this staring at the screen is just escapism and doesnt actually solve my emptiness. When i put the phone down or turn off laptop i reach this sense of hyper awareness and the silence and loneliness hits harder than ever. I love to dream while sleeping tho. But i have a hard time falling asleep sometimes.

Im lonely and would like to hang out with some friends but no close friend is available or replace that with smoking some weed but i don't like the cough i always get for a few days after smoking. At least this music, gould's 1981 version of goldberg variations makes me feel a bit better.

I always wish for mood music accompanying the mood of the story im reading atm. If i feel the mood is different than the story then i get distracted and cant read at all and can only focus on the music. If the mood is suiting then the story plays out better in my head and i can read faster. So far ive put few effort into finding mood music suiting the story im reading, the idiot. So cause of this autism i dont really listen to music while i read. On the other hand check out gould's 1981 recording of goldberg variations, amazing stuff.

Learn an instrument would be the best way to start. A lot of composition is the ability to improvise and an instrument is essential for that. The piano would arguably be the most "composer"esque instrument due to its ability for melody, harmony, huge repertoire, and multi-staff reading which will be useful later on when u move on to bigger scores with more instruments. You can teach urself but a teacher is strongly recommended for their role as a mentor and allow you to notice what you previously didnt notice in urself.

After u have become sufficient on ur instrument try to compose on it (all this should be fun or meaningful, if not, welp). You absolutely need to know some form of notation to write music, even electronic music.
