Bah, The Plague was what I previously read I read that before I started to read the Camus book.

Plague receives a 9/10 from me. Think I will read the essays in the omnibus until I start his next work.

OP would you suggest I start with TPK or IJ for Wallace? I have IJ but I want to read something else by him before starting his magnum opus.

Was I the only one who got a vertigo sensation while reading the part where Navidson road his bike through the 5 and a half minute hallway?

Read The Plague yesterday. Can't believe it took me this long to get into Camus. Think I will read Communist Manifesto tonight and maybe the rest of Thomas Paine's works too this evening if I feel like it.

is the new Dark Tower book worth a read? I like the idea of reading something new in the Dark Tower universe. But what worries me is that it's new King so it's bound to probably not be that good.

i've read the first chapter. Doesn't seem too bad, but something tells me I should've bought something else by Wallace to start with him.

What are lit's opinions on this? Read a biography on him earlier in the year and i'm very interested in this.

I was wondering if any lawfags would recommend?

Almost done with The Plague at the moment. I suggest that.

The Odyssey is always good too.

It's actually a manga called Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. It has loads of references to works like Dazai, Kafka, etc.

Why is it that Dazai's works are so hard to find in the UK? I only own NLH but that's because I bought mine on Ebay.

I know about the 3DPD movie. But it is really hard to track down.

Also been reading some SNZ lately you can tell Dazai was a major inspiration for Nozumi Itoshiki.

Has anyone here seen Aoi Bungaku? It has an adaption of No Loner Human and another Dazai's work from what I recall.

1.Learn the Alphabet
2. Learn Ganjou
3. Grammar

The grammar is actually pretty easy, it's the kanjis that you'll find you spend more time with.

i've added it to my "To Buy" list. Don't really want to buy anymore books at the moment when I have 10 or so on my backlog.

And I suggest Surely,You're Joking. Pretty cool biography.
