what's more important in book prose or plot

I thibk the future of literature lies in structers like the confidence-man and finnegans wake, novels where the characters are less individuals and more fluid and ephemeral archetypes that takes the name and face that is needed for whatever stage the narrative is in. Any other books that follow this experiment?

I think I want to take the Wagnerpill. What is the best way to experience his work?

I'm looking for a good audio book reading of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, preferably in the public domain. Can you recommend one? Or should I just get Audible? Their 5min sample of the reading was pretty good. Also audio books general thread, I guess.
