>that's probably why he's so discussed here.
D-did you just discredit all of Schopenhauer's work based on his opinions on one topic?

Did I just... stumble into Arcanine?
Personally, I don't think you need to be a virgin to hate women or be a Casanova to think well of them, but that's just personal experience.
Actually, most of the really successful people in that regard that I know of are raging sexists when not in female company, so w/e.

As for the views themselves: While there are cognitive differences between the sexes, statements such as "Women cannot keep promises" or "Women ought to be housewives because...REASONS" have precious little to do with anything approaching science and therefore belongs onto the trashheap of philosophical history.

Ezekiel, Proverbs,
Ecclesiastes, Job, John, Revelation, Genesis, Exodus, Daniel.
Not only are they enjoyable to read, they also cover most things in biblical canon that don't focus around Israel failing at everything constantly.

I WOULD recommend some of Paul's letters but... aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh~ The guy was so obviously part of the intelligentsia (i.e wordy as hell) it hurts. Thessalonians 1&2 if you have the time.

Job, Ecclesiastes and John would be really good starting points.
"In the beginning was The word, and the Word was with God and God /was/ the Word" -- show me a quote more /lit/ than that in the Bible.

I like Soren Narnia's Knifepoint Horror for that.

Proverbs should be higher on the list. Guy was pretty much /lit/ incarnate.

S-so is this a more elaborate version of the much-cited "ironic shitposting"?

Please... please tell me this isn't serious.
It sounds like something one of the more unsavory members of the FF.net community would write.

The reformation and the language itself.
There's a certain need for accuracy when expressing yourself that sort of forces you to be accurate and reflected.
On the other hand, it's rather flexible so you can do a lot with it such as creating terms that can immediately be shared and understood.
Also ((>>3641244)) this.

Feel free to point me into the right direction. If worst comes to worst I'll just buy the things -- can't honestly say it'd be a waste of money without slapping myself in the face for the massive hypocrisy in the light of my recent acquisitions.

> He profoundly disliked what he saw as distorting/perverting the sacred nature of art.
To sum it up: "Don't be a pretentious douche for the sake of it; it's a perversion of what true art was supposed to be".

Was that the one where they catch a rapist with some kind of spiky contraption and it turns out he was paid to use rape as a means of intimidation?
Something odd like that.

Are there any guides concerning themselves in particular with writing any sort of interactive fiction, be they CYOA books, RPGs, Adventure Games or Visual Novels?
I hope my request is not seen as rude - my experience with /lit/ is limited.

Image semi-related, it's part of a VN I'm working on.
