I quote from page 283 of the book "Look Who's Back":

"No. The truth could only be understood by a man who knows the Jews, the man who knows that with them there is no left and no right, and that both sides work hand in hand in perpetuity. And only the perspicacious spirit who sees through all the disguises could recognize that in their aim to eliminate the Aryan race, nothing had changed. The final struggle for the earth's scarce resources would come - far later than I had prophesied-but it would come nonetheless. And the aim was so clear that only a fool could deny it: the Jewish hordes were planning once more to flood the Reich with their repulsive masses. But they had learned from the last war. Because they realized their inferiority, they resolved to undermine, reduce and annihilate the valor of our Volk. So that when the day came, the Asiatic millions would be met only be effeminate Hartz-men, helplessly waving their mouse devices and television control boxes."

Pretty based.

Perspective on truth can not change, perspective is faith and truth is greater than perspective. The premise made was that truth in knowledge, I am attempting to argue against that, just to clarify. Truth does not change only the amount of understanding that comes with it, ie falling off the cliff.
>the truth-you will fall
>there are varying degrees of knowledge that allows you to understand why you will fall
>faith in falling or faith in not falling do not change the outcome of what will happen, it does not matter what perspective you have. The truth is you will always fall

Hey /lit/. I know I have a lot of fans here that are dedicated to my podcast, and I'm sorry but I am going to a paywall model as any self respecting modern philosopher/neuroscientist/professional podcaster eventually does. Previous subscribers are no longer grandfathered, and it will be 4 dollars a month to access my content.

Thanks for the years of continued support /lit/, Reddit has nothing on you guys.

The (a)effects would be devastating; absolutely terrible. That succulent gray matter would deflate like an old whoopee cushion; the resulting rattling around causing extensive brain trauma, internal contusions; the reconstructive surgery well out of any average citizens pockets; the deductible cleared and your ass covered would be a drop in the biohazard bucket of the expenses that YOU are gonna have to pay for attempting such a feat.
Best case scenario: Your personality shatters into interweaving fractals and you can only communicate through quotations, anecdotes, verses; it's too horrible to think about. And, retention? RETENTION!? Abandon all hope, aspiring ubermensch. It's not worth sacrificing your quality of life for this daring conquest of time and knowledge. Just become a Troglodyte. It's pleasant here.

Horror is a genre where I always feel like 'less is more'. Haunting of Hill House is a great little horror novel: it's just about the house, and a couple people staying in it as an experiment; creepy shit happens, climactic ending; and it's done. The series was way too drawn out for me, and they made it all about mental illness. I just felt like bitching, I think.

My name is Sam Harris and I want to say something to everyone on this board. Last week, I took an online IQ test without preparing for it at all. It showed me to be in the 99.9th percentile for IQ.

My mother's boyfriend of 8 years is a Philosopher who graduated Virginia Tech. At the age of 49, I understand religion better than him, and I owe very little of it to him, as he would rarely give me a decent explanation of anything, just tell me that my ideas were wrong and become aggravated with me for not quite understanding free will. He's not particularly successful as a philosopher, but I've met lots of other philosophers who aren't as good as me at physics. I'm also pretty good at Middle Eastern geopolitics. I don't have a degree, and other than physics I don't have a better understanding of any aspect of Islam than any actual theologian, but I have lots of ingenuity for making broad generalisations. I have independently thought of basically every branch of philosophy I've come across. Every question of existentialism which I've seen discussed in SMBC or xkcd or Reddit or anywhere else, the thoughts haven't been new to me. Philosophy has pretty much gotten trivial for me.

I've considered taking a philosophy course just to see how easy it is. Religion, I actually understand better than people with degrees. Unlike engineering, there's no aspect of foreign policy which I don't have a very good understanding of. I can debunk many of even Noam Chomsky’s theories. I'm a good enough writer that I'm writing a book and so far everybody in /pol/ who's read any of it has said it was really good and plausible to expect to have published. And that's not just, like, me and family members, that counts strangers on the Internet. I've heard zero negative appraisal of it so far. The following are some examples of my morals and ethical code. I believe firmly that Islam deserves no future. If I were the president after 9/11, I would be for a nuclear response. In fact, I'd even support the concept of nuking the Muslim world. This is essentially because I think that whoever you are, if you have ideas that are dangerous, it would be ethical to punish them simply for the sake of punishment, especially if you are a muslim. I believe in profiling of people based on their race and religion.

I consider myself an intellectual. I don't believe in peer review; they may happen naturally, but it should never be coerced into happening unnaturally. In closing, the people who know me in real life all respect me, as do a great many people in the /pol/ community, where I spend most of my time and where I'm pretty known for being helpful around the community. A lot of people in my segment of the community are depressed or going through hard times, and I spend a lot of time giving advice and support to people there. And, uh, I'm a pretty good scholar. All that, and I think your behavior here is totally assholish. So what do you think, now that you at least slightly know me?
