If everyone followed the picture's advice, I would have absolutely nothing against religion whatsoever.
You should watch a documentary called "Jesus Camp." I was subjected to the same kind of childhood as the kids in that movie.

I would read this if it was written in Homeric verse.

I never have enough time to be that thorough. Usually, though, rejections come from a story simply not grabbing my attention.

I got laid, like, an hour ago.
And no, not for the first time.

I'm a big fan of sci-fi, primarily Philip K. Dick, William Gibson, and H.G. Wells.

To be fair, though, my favorite author is Franz Kafka. Decidedly not sci-fi.

I'm not a writer; I'm an editor. I'm the guy who will be rejecting most of your submissions. Pic related.

It only counts against the limit if you post an image, and saging doesn't stop someone from immediately coming along and bumping.

I'm an editor for a literary journal.
Persistence is your friend; I usually reject a submission after reading only the first page.
If the first page made me want to read the second page, I'll continue, and so on until I either reach the end of a page and don't want to keep going, which is a rejection, or finish the story, which usually means I'll put my approval on it for further review by another editor.

98% of Americans have enough common sense to avoid foisting their personal beliefs on others.

Regressives: If you really support our troops, why do you insist on keeping them in harm's way?
Socialism HELPS, COMPASSION saves; GOD is NOT REAL.

I'm a logical thinker first, and I believe in evolution because it's the idea that makes the most sense from the available evidence.
