I'm an old lady, though not fully greying yet.
I grew up a Christian conservative, and home schooled. So while trying to get my life started I went through a dumb spiritual quest that led only to giving up on those big three spooks. By then I was pretty much apolitical. Hated 'em all. I started to drift to the ideological left more and more, but upon further examination only accepted Anarchism during my time on /lit/.
I knew climate change was pretty bad, but this latest thing I learned was pretty devastating. I hadn't felt that bad in a long time. It was a residual of the existential crisis I just hadn't thought through initially.
