Oh my gosh. That was beyond irritating. Picking up a tape and it droning on while you were in combat was so frustrating that I can't overstate my dissatisfaction with the developers of the game. Why bother constructing these supposedly great pieces of dialogue if you're just going to trample all over them with the loud clunking of a hacking mingame or the chaotic explosions of grenades.

Horribly executed game.

>It was a shooting game.
Fucking this. The ideas and themes it brought up were fun to find and think about, but the game was bogged down with so much goddamn time-padding FPS bullshit that I never finished that game.

The pacing of the story was also beyond horrible.

Eh, that's mine anyways.

Also, while the actual writing in it was sparse, I thought the way the themes in Shadow of the Colossus were presented was quite well done.

True that, what the fuck does Google Glass and creating an RP character have to do with literature?

I'm writing a piece that tries to make the line between favoring and being against and authoritarian government as grey as possible.

I'm really having a good time getting it done. That said, I'd also like to read something that favors the subject instead of disdains it.

>Forget about the books, for now.
>Thinking that you can put what you love on the backburner for lasting development of your body
I worked out daily for about two months when I took my break from writing. Got up to about 128lbs and had some pretty fine tone in my body. Since I started writing again, I've fallen back down to 115lbs and lost more or less all of my muscle mass.

What I'm trying to get across here is that if books and writing is what you want to invest yourself in, don't bother dropping them to participate in physical beautification as you'll likely lose all your gains as soon as you fall back into what you love.

Completely. I fall into a horrifically depressed state if I go anymore than three days without writing.

If you spend all your time trying to get to know a girl before courting her, she'll end up doing the same to you. First and foremost, she'll discover that you're over-analytical, and spend too much time worrying whether or not you're right for her instead of just going with your heart and pulling the trigger on romanticism. Which I would wager, she'd find to be a pretty large turn-off and proceed to allocating you to the friendzone.

Read more, OP. Don't stop writing, but make sure you're reading at least an hour a day before you go to bed. As of right now, it looks like your writing is in early stages of development. And that's okay, we all start somewhere. I think you need to envelop yourself more within literature so as to begin the process of finding your voice.Y'know, get a better grasp on word flow and narrative pacing. Reading will help you do that.

Keep at it.

I'll use pen and markers for outlining though.
