I saved all of the ones from that thread, but I don't get very many chances to use them.

Vintage is great. Except when two Vintage books rub together. It's awful.

As I've stated before, I really love this series of Nabokov books. Unfortunately they don't have all of his works in this series, but they do have most of them.

You mean Kitty Pryde the musician, right?
Also, what kind of admiration list of comic book characters doesn't include Barry Allen?

It's not like it's an activity that I have that takes time. When I finish reading a book and I go to move it to the "read" shelf instead of the "reading now" shelf, I click how many stars I enjoyed it and that's that.

>> No.3035633 [View]

I feel kind of bad, actually, because, when I review the books I finish, I don't "review" them, I just rate them a star and move on to the next one.

I can't into poetry very well. It's just something I've never fully "gotten the hang of." I've tried, though, and there is some poetry I've enjoyed, but, for the most part, I just can't do it. I'm okay with that, though.

While I'm a literature major and not a philosophy major, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I love learning about science and the way that things work and how they do what they do and other such things. I take a physics class whenever I have the opportunity, and I always love them.

I have a few:
Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man:
>Despicable whiny trash. Hard to decide which is more vomitory: Dedalus' preening over his artistique soul or his who-gives-a-shit conflict with Catholicism. Possibly the worst book ever, but all the same a wonderful litmus test for determining whether I want to know you or not.
The Book of Disquiet:
>Fuck Pessoa.
Steppenwolf:
>A self-indulgent, pseudo-insightful puddle of allegorical drool.
