Once I'm done with my current project, I plan to write a story based in the Netherworld that takes heavy inspiration for Bosch's Garden of Unearthly Delights.

What projects do you have in the pipeline, /lit/

I had a similar issue with finishing Infinite Jest. Jumping into a re-read of Great Gatsby just felt super bland in comparison. All I can offer as help to the two of you is finish whatever it is you're reading. As you push through it and see how the story of a 'simpler' book play out, you start to grow a natural attachment to its themes and characters. By the time you finish it, you'll find yourself back in a more accepting mentality. At least I did.

My novel because she's helping me edit and note what I have so far since I'm too sick to write anything new.

You're the dumbest person on this board.

I'm being harsh. Most annoying would be accurate though. What a stupid argument you're posing, what does it matter where an individual attains his world view?

As someone who loved IJ, you've got me pretty hyped. Thanks, stan.

I don't feel like it. Everything I've put down for my novel in the last week has been crap.

It's not here yet and I have to finish Technics and Human Development first.
I hear it's a fantastic read for writers. Guess I wanted some opinions from some of /lit/'s.

I've always thought about what I would post on /lit/ if I ever got my working novel published. It didn't take long to come to the decision that it would be a simple thank you letter to all the /lit/izins that gave me feedback and critique and I would forbid myself from giving out the name of myself or my novel.

That's what I've been hearing. Due to the very different multiple-stories-in-one-timeline format it takes awhile for things to start coming together. I'm rather looking forward to watching it though. Just need to hurry up and get through Season 3. Really should've started refreshing myself on the series a full month ago.

Well then it's good that this is just a poster design my friend sketched up for my birthday. I, personally, rather like it.

It's a character development piece, so I'm okay with it being perceived as uninteresting. As you said, these are fragments. Thanks for the feedback.

That sentence accurately exemplifies how the English language is so goddamn stupid.
