Well come on man, put some discretion to use. Narnia is included because for the most part every creature in Narnia is an anthropomorphic animal, humans being a rarity in that area. And yes I know, Narnia =/= The Chronicles of Narnia, but whatever.

Through the looking glass may >feature some talking animals, but it's not really what I was looking for when I made this thread.

The art style, music and voice acting was great. As a stand alone movie it's easily 8/10 on a bad day. As an adaptation of the book it's somewhat lacking, but aren't they all?

I could list my grievances with the movie, but it all comes down to the time allotted to tell a story. If I could have the movie extended and changed to be more like the book it would not necessarily be a better movie as a result.

Also did anyone here ever read Tales From Watership Down? I enjoyed the story about Campion since he was my favourite character from the novel.

Fuck you and your condescending ellipsis, and the two G.O books you've managed to reverse vomit into your brain.

Books featuring anthropomorphic animals

God Tier - Watership Down
High Tier - The Wind in the Willows
Mid Tier - Chronicles of Narnia
Low(ish - high lit if under 13) tier - Redwall Series
Shit Tier - Can't think of any right now.

Discuss anthropomorphic animals in literature. Especially in Watership Down.

By the way does anyone remember that Watership Down animated television series? It was pretty terrible and interrupted my childhood good programming. I marked it as being British right off the bat and I wasn't too damn far off the mark.

Even Bernard could fuck hot bitches if he felt like it.

But seriously if you don't believe BNW is as bad as I say it is, try reading the first few chapters about the kids touring the site where they splice up their humans. It's just obnoxious writing.

Oh man, I agree completely OP. To Have and have not was ass.

I don't really like Hemingway on the best of days. I'll hit this thread with;

Dostoyevsky - The Double
John Steinbeck - The Grapes of Wrath
