I am retarded and struggle to read. It gets worse the older I get.

Basically when confronted with a post larger than a dozen sentences, I immediately lose interest because I know the struggle that awaits me. If I try to force myself to read, the words often lose meaning and I don't understand what I see and it doesn't register into memory. It takes many attempts to read one paragraph and so it takes me forever to get through an article or actual book. During this time, I feel a lot of heat in my body and brain. Like my system is overheating.
I need to immediately stop and I feel better.

I feel sad and stressed. This year is going to be a huge grind for me financially. I'm going to be down over $10,000 because of my brother. Trying to think of things I can do this year to keep my chin up and feel like I'm still progressing. Trying to get /fitlit/ is the answer I guess. Anyone have any suggestions?
