I'm not going to argue with you. Most of it would be subjective interpretation of themes and motivations and blah blah but there is one thing you are objectively wrong on.

The storm god disaster was literally caused by Orion, after darrow trusted her to follow the plan. Yknow, Darrow not acting on his own? They were supposed to cause a storm that would knock out comms and make air travel dangerous.. They were not supposed to kill millions of civilians.. There's even a line beforehand about how most civilians would be able to avoid the danger (assuming they didn't go beyond first horizon). So this is just you, yes, making shit up...

If youre not willing to acknowledge that you got that wrong, then your reciews are worthless. So far as I can tell you rely heavily on interpretation, and regularly discount the face value of the books you review.

Time and time again in Iron Gold we are subjected to Darrows internal monologue wherein it is explicitly shown time and time and time again that the only conflict in his character is that he cannot be both a liberator and a father. The Reaper is not compromised. And the fact that you wrote that sentence would have been enough to demonstrate how poorly you comprehend the books you read, let alone everything else.
