you are an election tourists lol, you came here in 2017 and started sperging about 'theosophy shill'. Ever since then you've been samefagging yourself (as other anons have documented) in order to astroturf this board into thinking everyone is reading guenon when there is 0 discussion of his actual ideas and nothing but forced memes that didn't go anywhere.

It's a shame that actual traditionalist discussion has been killed off for good now, pre-2016 /lit/ contained myriad of meaningful threads about evola and guenon. So thanks a lot for ruining traditionalism for everyone!

>neovedantist doing his usual routine of "everyone I've ever talked to is the same person!"

I'm not a Buddhist, nor am I the "Kant shill," nor am I the "Theosophy shill," or whatever your latest obsession is.

Man you are fucking schizo. You literally think multiple people calling you out for the same behavior means there's one guy who has been following you around for years but who somehow keeps changing religions and philosophies.

Like I said to OP, take this guy's statements with a grain of salt. Of course, if he's right about something he's right. But you can see a glimmer of his insanity right here.

Who is Guenonfag?

Once upon a time there was a little anon who stumbled upon a book from an obscure French Muslim author (Abdul Al-Wahid Yahya, formerly known as Rene Guenon). He had never read any substantial works of any author, had never started with the Greeks, and was never really introspective into metaphysical matters.

But on that day, his life was transformed. So enamored with his first and only foray into the esoteric arts, he took it upon himself to spread the word of Guenon and preach perennialism (which is basically just advaita for incels) to the four channels of the net. In an effort to unite trad minded folk, he created 'Traditionalism general' for peeps to discuss authors such as Guenon, Evola, Coomaraswamy, Schuon etc.

The discussion was initially fruitful and healthy. That was until he was *gasp* -criticized- by a supposed 'theosophy/kantian shill'. He couldn't understand this feeling for which he had never felt before. He thought to himself 'could Guenon's infinite wisdom be imperfect? Could he really have derived his framework from the German idealists?'. 'No', he uttered. It's the others who are wrong (of course). He lashed out and attacked the 'Theosophy shill' relentlessly. Several shitposters then went in to bait him. Each consecutive thread resulted in constant sperg outs, alienating the casual traditionalists that partook in those threads (including evolists, sufiists and neoplatonists). Soon he turned on the Evolists and basically anyone who looked at him funny. His momentary freak outs were so common it spilled out into other threads. The moderators eventually decided to delete traditionalism general threads, which resulted in the so called 'Trad Exodus'.

He would later try to revive trad generals by disguising it as 'eastern general', only to resort to samefagging once he realized the old trad posters had gone forever. He has since continued the shill job in virtually every thread to do with eastern philosophy and eastern religious discussion often making a fool of himself. His random freakouts still happen from time to time, often culminating in multi-thread shitposting.

This is the story of Guenonfag, the one responsible for the destruction of traditionalism in this board.

i am not an expert, i suppose, but i know a hell of a lot more than that guenonfag guy (the theosophist one).

not sure if you're familiar with him, but he's been posting pro-theosophy shill shit on this board for well over a year. he used to be more obvious about it, directly linking to theosophical interpretations, but when he got called out he started pretending he was only a reader of guenon.

he’s right, though im not a theosophy shill i haven’t read anything from that school in over two years, and i never advocated explicitly for theosophy, all i said was evola and guenon took things from her then conspicuously went out of their way to denigrate her, publishing a book about her specifically to capitalize on the milieu she helped catalyze with her movement and then exploited the ignorance of orientalists to say idiot things about hinduism, such as its actually intellectual noetic focused, and that they did not believe in reincarnation, its actually a super rigorous philosophical system and advaita is the real hinduism etc. that’s all i ever did to this shitskin nigger retard.

>While I disagree with the strict orthodox/heterodox division Guenon and yourself used, I did agree that certain views arose in orthodox schools which later fell out of favour.

I agree with that, I wasn't paying super close attention and I mistakenly thought you were arguing that the concept of atomism itself (separate from Vaisheshika as a school) was fundamentally orthodox and I wanted to figure out why you thought that. As far as I'm aware orthodox is just what Hindus just consider to be in alignment with the Vedas/Sruti and like you said it eventually came to be the general view of Hindus that atomism itself was unorthodox. I don't pretend to speak for Hindus and was only arguing it was unorthodox insofar as it was later regarded to be as such by many Hindu thinkers, I was under the misimpression you were arguing that atomism was widely accepted as orthodox (even past the era when Vaisheshika was popular). I agree that the orthodox distinction isn't super important but is mostly a method of classifying different doctrines in relation to one another, for example you have certain tantric sects regarded as heterodox despite being almost identical to Vedanta in many aspects.

lmao I don't think I am being persecuted by a 'Theosophy shill', around 8-10 months ago some Muslim guy started posting Trad generals and some dude showed up in them and would argue in elaborate ways that Traditionalism actually stemmed from theosophy, you can see a classic example of it here

That's hardly getting rekt, we are debating minor details of something and as he himself said 'I totally agree'

>You are a terrible, terrible poster.
Says the poster who is throwing around childish insults like sandnigger and who was completely btfo when they tried posting about Hinduism and Buddhism. Your only response was to try to cobble together a bunch of archived posts I may or may not have made on an anonymous website where dozens of people post anonymously about any given topic, what a joke. You have nothing of substance to say and get destroyed every time you argue with regard to details and so you are reduced to creating a strawman out of anonymous postings and acting like that's somehow an argument. The absolute state of western Buddhists, I suggest you meditate.
