I can talk about Touhou here, everyone that I know in real life mocks and insult me because I play shooters with little girls.

Oooo, I can do that.

My favorite thing about /jp/ is that all of my friends are here.

The end.

>> No.8957798

It's the less terrible place to talk about touhou avaliable, it values taking it easy, there are some cool people posting and it's the only place I can fit in because it's full of other bitter losers.

/jp/ is great because it leverages core skillsets through inherited pattern-oriented synergies and offers integrated production solutions using first-class e-business architectures and a scalable framework.

/jp/

/jp/ is good because Neo "Excellent" Janitor is on vacation again.
Exactly like last week, he will be away for 4 days and be back on Monday/Tuesday. During this time, /jp/ will maintain all of its 16 pages.
On Tuesday, when Neo will finally come back, /jp/ will lose half of its pages and a GUST thread will be made.

Bookmark this post and see for yourself on Tuesday.

                      The End.

Those are not 10 words.

Also why so many sage replys,a re people in /jp/ autistic like in /v/?

>>8957802
It's 13 words. And /jp/ is probably the most "autistic" board on 4chan, if you want to put it that way.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

There's many nice, smart people who have thought processes similar to mine. It's peaceful, chilling, and filled to the brim with cute things. How can anyone not like it?

Sage is something that is commonly misused. By understanding when to use it properly, you can avoid a lot of insults and negative responses.

How do I use it?
Simply fill the e-mail field with "sage", and nothing else.

When should I use it?
Whenever you are posting something to a thread that will have no gain of the thread being bumped to the top of the board. For example, you are posting information not directly related to the thread, but has relevence. Very old threads should be "sage'd" at all times possible, unless there is an utter need for them to get bumped up.

When shouldn't I use it?
Whenever you are posting something in the thread that needs the attention of the entire board. Maybe you are the OP posting a update, or "ageing" a still young thread that was pushed down by recent flurry of traffic in other threads.

Sage is not a insult.
Contrary to popular belief, sage should never be considered as a rude gesture or insult. In fact, someone writing insults or trolls to the thread and posting with sage are doing a good thing, since their useless post won't be brought to the attention of the rest of the board. The idea of sage being an insult came from /b/, where filling up a thread with enough posts would get it removed. However, threads on /jp/ take hundreds of posts before they are closed, so the effect doesn't work here.

I started playing Touhou because of /jp/, but then I stopped because I was really bad at it.

> I just come here because all of you are like me

This is the worst possible reason. Reminds me of when people decide they "outgrew" /r9k/ and so came to /jp/ because "[they are] a NEET too!". It's okay though because "[they] started playing Touhou and it's pretty cool."

The foundations for /jp/'s greatness lie within the fact that the rest of 4chan is becoming more and more homogenous and the building blocks of what used to be a unique culture and posting style for most, if not every individual board are gradually being broken down due to the ever increasing userbase that tends to ignore them and replace them with more easily digestible, internet-wide culture, memes, and the like. While this is not entirely absent in the case of /jp/, it is less notable for two distinct reasons. Firstly, /jp/ has always been and still remains a niche board with a relatively small userbase. While that userbase has grown over the four years that the board has existed, it has not increased as exponentially as that of other boards, namely the far more popular /b/, /a/, and /v/. The second reason is more interesting and less obvious. Within 4chan, /jp/ happens to be somewhat unique in the fact that it does not readily assimilate the internet-wide memes, phrases, and overall type of behavior that is being imported into the aforementioned more popular boards by new 4chan users.

I couldn't clear any of the games on easy, so I gave up. I guess shmups just aren't for me.

>>8957831

It instead either tries to utterly reject it with conscious hostile responses or uses heavy layers of irony to mock it. While this sort of response may not be entirely out of the ordinary for a somewhat closed-off community, what is remarkable is the fact that because rejection of this type of imported meme culture is bound to be unsuccessful however determined the attempts of 4chan users are, /jp/'s attitude towards this purpose tend to result in a unique blend of reddit-style memes coupled with the sarcasm and attitude of a young, 2003-05 era 4chan that is, dare I say, not present anywhere else on the Internet, at least not in the same form. Thus to a person that can appreciate such a phenomenon, /jp/ is absolutely fascinating to read. Note that while the above used to be the norm for most threads, /jp/ has indeed been getting progressively worse due to a heavy influx of new users that is, I suspect, a result of former /jp/ users exporting /jp/ culture to more popular boards. What the end result of all of this will be remains to be seen, but regardless, it will be very entertaining to observe.

That is my introduction and thesis, I can't really be bothered to type up a whole essay at this time.

Right now I'm able to 1CC Ten Desires, Fairy Wars, Perfect Cherry Blossom, Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil, Imperishable Night and Mountain of Faith, all on Normal. I also can beat Mamizou (after 5 days practicing straight her spellcards) and Mokou (same as before). How am I doing?
