I disagree, it gives the developer a chance to showcase what is coming up. It sets the tone nicely and it can excuse a few hours of building up a good base for the story that would have otherwise been a farce. I'm currenty playing with Eien no Aselia, but the more I read the more booooooring it gets. I don't know if it's the translation's fault, but reading through all this mundane text is just tiring and the weak plot certainly doesn't help.
At least they put effort into inventing a new language, but the game really should have an option which lets the voice continue playing after clicking.

I went back to continuing Steins;Gate, and just finished Feiris's end and had a question for anyone who has finished the game.

They send the D-Mail to 10 years in the past, and it changes the world line or whatever right? So the world line becomes one where both Mayuri and Feiris Papa don't die. At the same time however, Mayuri and co don't know who Kyouma is in this world. This doesn't make sense to me, because Kyouma and Mayuri are childhood friends ain't they? How would the D-Mail to 10 years ago stop Mayuri and Kyouma from ever knowing each other? If it's explained later or prior then please excuse me, and I will continue reading.

I've finished my crack for Rewrite. The EXE is completely unpacked so it will no longer take a few seconds to load it like it would if you used the AlphaROM license thing. The gaijin block part has also been hacked out.

Turns out that the dinosaurs are actually girls in comas that have fallen out of trees. Then, the main character dies on the moon because he didn't have a helmet or an oxygen tank. Finally got around finishing Saya no Uta, been wrapped up in some other games and decided to stay up late and finish the game and all the routes.

I have to say, pretty damn good. Bit disappointed with the ending where You choose to get it all back, it was a bit fast-paced and I would have liked to see some resistance on Fuminori's part... but whatever.
