I've been playing Himegari since I liked Kamidori.
Is it just me or it's way more hard than the latter? Turn limits are a lot tighter (I've got more than a few maps without 100%), I'm still with just two characters 7 stages in, you don't get clear points while grinding old levels so I've got really few of them and can't upgrade shit. Is it supposed to be like this at first?
Still undecided whether to go Law or Chaos though...

Depends on how the experience rate value is set, I think. I'm fine with having to do a few more battles if only for the funny premise (since you'll obviously sex your favorite characters and you'll feel compelled to get them back into shape), but 35 seems a bit high. You'll probably have high level monsters to kill by the time any character reaches 35, too.
Sounds like a really complex system that could bomb hilariously if they don't balance it well enough.

The best way to do it if you ask me is that the guy doesn't say anything during the eroscene, and you only read his thoughts while the girl guesses everything. There are lot other examples where he's voiced just like everywhere else, or his voice is taken away during eroscene (sekai dame or schatten) and whatever. I reckon every possibility was done before.

Frankly I thought Gensou no Avatar had massive issues with its pacing so I wasn't particularly satisfied with him. The story would have been interesting but damn, I was so frustrated by the end with how it always went back to stuff I didn't care about and detail it for hours.

Just finished Dengeki Stryker trial. Nice length, ended up on a cliffhanger with a preview trailer.

Thoughts: Really good. It's Overdrive for sure but every facet (characters, plot, humor, music, animation) of it felt a tier or two above Edelweiss. Protagonist is like Sousuke from Fullmetal Panic. For now the "memory collector" plot device seemed a bit bogus and the entire plot is comedy, but as usual it will get more serious later on...

There are a few reviews of it you can read up on. Mostly on blog sites that incite rage for certain Anons if they are posted, so just Google "Hoshizora no Memoria review" and make your way from there.

Personally, I've read most of the common route and am loving most of the characters. It gets a bit repetitive due to its sheer length (common route is a third of the game) and love of running gags, but it's pretty enjoyable, for me.

I searched through JAST's forum and downloaded the video re-encoded, it's working now. However, after the animated scene the screen is freezes and only returns to normal if I switch to windowed mode and the full screen again but with that it skips around 7 text boxes so I had to read them from the history section, not much of a bother though.

And on a side note I almost dropped Demonbane during chapter 1 but now it's getting better, there are some really good humor scenes too.

Well, don't look for literary merit or a great plot, that's for sure. It's just a story about people getting together, knowing each other and facing everyday life and hardships together. I'm still on my first route, and while they did drop a pretty serious reason for the heroine partecipating in ningen shikkaku (Kotone turned into a fujoshi and tried to have a perfect facade at school because she was almost raped by her father, and they divorced because of it so she feels guilty), they never try to turn it into a tearjerker or deep emotional story.
It just feels... I don't know, more "realistic" than usual? They just deal with whatever and go on without cheap drama. I like that kind of atmosphere, but I guess people could find it very boring or dull, most of the time is spent speaking with the heroine, and to be honest they aren't masterpieces of characterization. It's not a game I'd reccomend to the average reader, but I'm liking it enough.

dunno about the plot, looks like more on the nukige side, but it's centered on the fetish you want so you should find it decent enough. If you don't mind just individual routes, I guess Majikoi, Tsuyokiss, Eustia all had yandere characters? They're the first games that came in mind.

Talking about it can be quite difficult since spoiler and all.
Well basically a guy and 3 girls that belong in an art club have a training camp for one week in their school (it takes place at the end of summer so the school is deserted).
At the beginning of the week they somehow find an inactive robot maid named Sue and they manage to activate her again.
Well the week passes in a normal moege way untill the game loop, unknowingly to the cast at first, except Sue who remember everything.

It starts in a pretty standard way with cute characters doing cute things but it gets really REALLY heavy after the real story start.

agree. one of the reasons I like Eushully games so much is because they take mostly place in same universe and expand its lore. also the whole eushully-verse has quite bit background to it too, which all just make it better. IM Veritas guide book has nice timeline too which mentions major events before the games too dating back more than 1500 years in universe times and cool stuff like that. also the one reason Ikusa Megami is one of my all time favorite series is because of the timespan it happens and you see the world changing. I own IM Zeros guidebook for the record too.

Well, it's about femdom and girls slutting themselves too. Like I mean, the first trial was about a new employee passing the test his new employers of this hugeass mansion would prepare for him (reverse rape by all 3 of them and one of their maids), but the second trial was about a dude going on the aforementioned on a party the mansion owners made, and the daughters + all the meidos are offering cheap sex (non femdom) to the guests of the part whom almost all are old dudes who normally can't even get it up anymore (the drinks are drugged with potential enhancer though).

She is always there but she is actually pretty subdued.
She doesn't take much place until the last chapter and even there she is pretty tolerable.
I hated her during the prologue too but by the end she was one of my favorite.

Believe me she is FAR more tolerable than most other heroines.
