- The early Spring 2024 even "Operation Tatsumaki" is underway with friendly fleets scheduled to arrive late next week.
- There are 4 new ships available: Heian Maru (E2+E3 Drop), I-36 (E1+E2Drop), Drum (E3 Reward), and I-41 (E4 Reward)
- The 3 limited time Valentine's quests are still available. Limited time quests 2307 B1 + B2 are also still available.
- February ranking rewards have been distributed. They are the Seiran (631 Air Group) +4, Prototype Seiran +4, 14cm Twin Gun Mount Kai Ni +7, 12cm Single High-angle Gun Mount + 25mm Machine Guns Additions +7. There will be a new quest at some point to convert a Prototype Seiran to a Seiran (631 Air Group).
- As of mid October 2023 The terms and conditions for the DMM games platform have changed. I have no clue how android's OS works anymore but back in the day you could enable notifications on an app even if it wasn't launched. The app would partially run in the background to poll/ping for the notifications then show them on the phone. You have to look through the many bodies buried in the settings to ensure that.

For chipping, send 1 Toukai LBAS to nodes A1 & E & have 1 DD in the escort with OASW + a smoke.

ASW support is optional during chipping, but gives an added layer of security & definitely improves pass rate. Regular shelling support is not required. Anyways, I ran ASW support & only retreated twice during chipping, once at C & once from a fluke airstrike blowing up full-health Taihou at F1. The pain only starts on LD, because you're guaranteed an escort chuuha at C, E is there to follow up & ASW support effectiveness has been degraded by passing through C.

For anyone about to do E4-3 on hard, don't waste your resources on support expeditions. I ended up clearing without them since it's just a huge RNG fest getting your top two subs healthy on LD. Best to just train the LBAS between boss strikes and hope they clear the escort fleet instead of wasting ammo on support.
