ASa have ~3 artists. I like that they mix styles and some of it looks good. But it's like 1 artist can draw bodies but not faces, 1 artist can draw faces but not bodies and 1 artist is all over the place.
Yuzusoft used to be one of the best. I never know which one's drawn by muririn and which one's kobuichi but 1 of them draws really bad huge bodies. The other one's been adding ugly things to the faces. The modernization of the coloration and shaders is all bad now.
Purple Soft were good before koku, okay when it was koku and the other artist. When it was only koku they became garbage. Kunado brought in new artists but they were meh and the coloring's ugly. Criminal Border is something else.

I'm waiting for the day when Saga Planets shit the bed. They've been consistent. Also in drawing pseudo flat girls.

Shin Koihime vn that makes the game long is the character chapters (which can be skipped). The character chapters are very fun to read, especially for the sol and comedy. the plot of this vn is not that special except for some interesting and funny side characters.

Edgy shit for the sake of it. I have a high tolerance for that content and tend to enjoy it, but in this case it's simply to try to give the game a darker tone. The characters are excessively plain and there's no anticipation leading up to any fights because there's no proper build up to the conflict. On the plus side, the true route definitely reaches kami status, but at that point you're so tired of all the previous crap that it's hard to appreciate it properly

Finished ルリのかさね. Some really good songs and comfy bgms that go well with the overall atmosphere, and it has some nice humor. Ruri's routes were short and sweet. One happy flavored and one sad flavored. There's an unlockable H route but it's not serious, mostly more humor.
The game has other girls, but it's a single heroine game in spirit (Ruri flips Yura off in her own route, so even she agrees). Yura's route uses the same themes as Ruri's, it just changes stuff like metaphors, which made it feel a bit repetitive. The romance build-up is OK, but the drama and resolution come immediately after it.
Iichiko's route is the most rushed. There were multiple bugs, but even ignoring them it's still kind of meh. Repeated themes again (I counted around 15 mentions of 重ね), her backstory is brought up but not explored enough, and the romance -> drama -> resolution sequence is even more sudden than in Yura's.

Ruri's two main routes have no H, just some ecchi CGs like bathing together, but the MC doesn't sexualize her at all. Sorry to disappoint, but I got Plus Stories from hsuki. I used to have the original from crane anime lol. There shouldn't be any point in getting the original version and it'll be harder to find. Ryuugames has it but the links could be dead. The 2DGF torrent of the double pack shows 1 seeder. If that doesn't work maybe you find something on A-S.

After looking around I realized that the FD, Shukusai no Campanella didn't get a Plus Stories. Only the first release and double pack. Yuukyuu no Campanella has 4 limited editions (can only find 1 uploaded), but it seems they're "special" releases that are the common route & heroine route with some cuts.

Sometimes I hate how optimized 攻略 are. They try to minimize the steps of skipping and reloading but in some cases you miss out on events and endings. The use of saves can also be weird like make Save1 and continue, then after an ending you reload Save1 for a short thing. You use that Save1 once. I'd use a quicksave instead. Or do the short thing first and then when you'd make Save2 in the guide you overwrite Save1 instead. I think the most retarded guide I've seen was for Little Busters with 30 or 60 saves used for reloarding.

With all those saves I feel like I could use them to get those missable scenes somehow. Sucks there's no better guide than these. YU-NO had the same issue. There's a flowchart guide that is only good as an overview but doesn't direct how to get to the nodes. And there's a written guide that has details but is full of mistakes, which you can fix by comparing to the flowchart guide and a 2nd written guide.

This is just my theory, but I think the Chinese approached VISUAL ARTS in 2020 and some studios were told to stop marketing (Studio Mebius). NTA but EGS is weird about region blocking. I can access it normally most of the time, then for 1-3 weeks I can't get in. I use Tor Browser and notice that all EU country exit nodes are blocked. US nodes work to 99% but even Canadian nodes are blocked together with EU.

If I desperately need EGS I'll use Tor+US but it's bothersome refreshing until I get a US node. Too lazy to swap the config file to only use US nodes every time. Not paying for piracy/VPN. So to me EGS either works or it doesn't. Many people are even lazier and won't even use Tor.

Somewhat related but there this PSP game for that anime Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai.
In this game you can lock yourself to a "early ending" by a choice in the prologue. So you play the game get that ending and think you did something wrong so you load a save and try again but no the choice that fucks you up is at the very beginning of the game.
