I'm glad for her but also a bit disappointed with the recent trend of going vsinger -> fleshsinger. It seems more and more to be a just a fad which people enter to gain first attention, or maybe they just have some insecurities about their appearance which they eventually get rid of. The difference between the initial wave who did it because they liked it when it was not a popular thing yet, and the leeches who do it because it's the easiest path towards popularity with reduced competition.
Becoming a vtuber for Hololive in the initial gen was not the same thing as doing it to get an easy million subs and free simps.

In Mimi's case it's a bit different, because she had mindset issues that made her hide behind a virtual identity and she desires to start a real life after improving her state.
That may be more in line with the reason for being a vtuber.
That's how Kizuna AI started her career.

She had her issues and wanted to have a different life hoping that a virtual avatar would enable to be her ideal self.
Unfortunately that was only temporary and it attracted the psychopaths her mindset issues enabled until she solved that issue.

Maybe vtubers are a step between imagination and reality.
Vtubers are closer to reality compared to anime characters and interact more with their fans.

this is so true lmao. i thought i hit the jackpot with kim a reum but i quickly grew tired of her style. tictactoe will forever have a special place in my heart tho.
i think personally korean singers want to create slower songs similar to those jpop song of the same style but is too overshadowed by kpop and can't get that big in korea. but then again im just making a crazy theory and dazbee seems to be doing fine with a korean fanbase singing japanese songs.

How are you feeling about the split? I've been bitter since yesterday, despite having some time to sit around and think it over. Now I just keep skipping the song anytime Liz comes up on my playlist. Like I'm trying to remove them from my algorithm. The split makes it seem like Lita is the primary KMNZ, but I always thought of them as equals. I wish they pulled a BGV, and just split on good terms, and Lita could do whatever she wanted to do as Lita. But I don't think I can see KMNZ as anything other than Lita + Liz, and it's making me a spiteful listener. I'm willing to give Lita a chance to prove me wrong next year, but I'll be very quick to drop "new" KMNZ if I'm unhappy.

I have mixed feelings about it. I'm also pissed about it but I've prepared myself mentally for Liz's graduation a month or two ago. The announcement still hit me hard though. What I didn't expect is Lita's resolve to keep going. I thought for sure KMNZ is finished with Liz gone. She is basically the one responsible for mixing 90% of their covers and the one that interacts with KMNHZs the most. Despite of losing her, Lita still decided to keep going. I didn't expect Lita to treasure KMNZ that much. I was happy that the journey is not over yet and besides, Liz is great and all but I like Lita better as a singer.

I always thought of Liz, Lita, yaca, and somunia as a group of sorts. And yaca can definitely do mixing, not sure if he has the time to do so however. I don't know if some of their staff like Nino & Samojiro can do music production. Some of the others they hang out with (think like Kosaka in MZM) I feel like are closer with Liz.

Anyway I don't think Liz even does the mixing for their album tracks, so it's not even really a big deal. This is really just talking about her having a friend who can help her with the mixing when it comes to KMNZ covers. Even if I think that KMNZ should have remained Liz and Lita's thing, I don't think Lita (as a singer and musician) needs Liz.

That's more of a social group. KMNZ consists of Lita, Liza and KMNCrews(whoever they are) but they do sometimes hire other people like Yaca and Batsu to write and mix their originals. Nino is "N", right? He's a Reality staff and also helps Vesperbell with their stuffs. It's hard to say who is Lita close to since she's barely active on social media. I don't even think she's close with Liz nowadays. She's a lone wolf.

I'd like to make a seasonal playlist, but it's really so mendokusai. I always have these ideas like I want to make a cohesive playlist, but I'm so lazy. Fees are pretty much the same so it's just a matter of choice. I use Zenmarket. I liked their rather cheap alternative delivery options, but now that SAL is back, it doesn't matter as much. The process is very straightforward, you just click a button on their website and send a link to them (you have to do it each time for every separate item), then you pay and they buy the items in several hours. And yeah there are tutorials, I doubt you'll need one though. The only reason I would use Tenso is when I want to buy like 10 different things in the same shop, in that case Zenmarket's fees that they charge for each separate item get too much.
