Even without a rejection, if this listing was Madosoft planning to do a Chinese release on Steam themselves and cutting out Sekai Project who did the Chinese translation for the original, it is hard to imagine that Sekai would be interested in doing the fan disc without being able to do both the Chinese and English releases.

The difficulty of the game could, generally, be a bit higher.
But even then the game is actually pretty good about distributing bonus challenges all throughout the game that are far ahead of the difficulty curve, that you can choose to engage with early if you so wish for a greater challenge (and some earlier rewards). It does a lot to keep me caring about the combat and core gameplay.

And beyond that. It's been forever since I played an RPG with party dynamics this enjoyable. The inter-party dialogues in this really are great. And the game does a lot to flesh out each character too.
And the world at large is both vast and fleshed out itself. And on the gameplay aspect of it all, there are secrets all over the entire game of various kinds. They're kind of old school secrets, but if you're the kind of guy who enjoys uncovering hidden stuff everywhere, even if said secrets are often obtuse or archaic, then exploring the world is quite enjoyable because there is a lot to uncover.
