I decided to buy my first dakimakura after a long time thinking about it! But I also came to the conclusion that I would like to have a unique one, so my question is: are there any dakimakura companies that partner with artists to create on-demand dakimakura artwork? (worldwide shipping would be amazing too)

I think that instead of this thread being just about my questions, we can make a dakimakura thread. It's been a while since I've seen one, so...

I hug and kiss and talk to my dakis. I like cuddling with them, it's comfy and satisfying. And they look nice too. I have a few different covers but usually just one pillow out on my bed at a time.
My mom has seen all of them and likes some more than others. I don't have any NSFW covers but she likes the "cute" more wholesome ones over the bikini clad girls with big boobs.

Yeah, the whole moment was very uncomfortable to say the least. This was because of three factors. My daki is lewd and because the TA and I had a somewhat uneasy relationship. It was also actually the moment that the both of us discovered that we were neighbors so that added to the shock factor.

For context about why she and I had an uneasy relationship, it was because I was usually the last person to leave the class. That meant that I was kind of holding her up even though there was still technically time left in class. She would just kind of rudely tell my partner and me to hurry up and get out of the lab. She would also kind of just give us a death stare as well to hurry us up.

So for how she saw my daki, I was coming back to school after Spring Break and I was moving my belongings back into my apartment. When I was carrying my daki with me, I suddenly hear a door open near me and in a panic, I try to reach the safety of my apartment before any prying eyes can see my daki in all its lewdness. However, I was evidently too late because I heard a familiar voice call out my name. Curious to see who called for me, I turn about (totally forgetting that I was carrying my daki) and my eyes meet with my TA's. Taken aback, I weakly say "H-hi" as she contemptuously scans my lewd daki. After what felt like an eternity of her thoroughly looking at every detail on my daki, she just passed by me without saying a word.

Every time in class after that moment, I could tell she couldn't quite look me in the eye. Also, I got an A in the class lol.

I've had a daki of my waifu for a few years now. I personally don't find it easy to sleep hugging her, but I like her in bed and it makes me happy glancing over at her. A few times I've woken up to myself humping the daki which was interesting

These covers are on right now.
These are more sexy, not the favorite. Some wholesome cuddly pillows work really well, it's nice to wake up with them, and you can lose 30 minutes a day just cuddling, not wanting to get out of bed.

It's much better to sleep with a daki if you sleep on your side. I'd use one even without the art.

Just get one first, and bother with custom later. Find out what works first, the position of the head and eyes can change the whole vibe.

Polyester fiber. I'd recommend getting an inner pillow though, as you'll want to change the cover eventually, and stuffing them makes a mess. And the white background looks better too, as they're a little bit transparent.

I have a Rachnee body pillow with this design. There's a variant where the left-hand picture is much lewder, but I prefer this one. I like the design because they do a really good job of capturing both sides of Rachnee's character - right hand makes her look like she's in a frisky, domme-y mood, left hand makes her look affectionate and romantic. Great to cuddle when side-sleeping, nice balance of sexy and cute, gazing into her eyes (any of them) is sweet and romantic.
