What do you need to do to get the head shape to come out alright?

The trick to the shape of the head really lies in how you shape the top of the "jaw" piece that attaches to the bottom of the face.
If it's too flat, you end up with rectangular faced fumos.
Too steep of a curve, and they get a strange jutting jaw.
I've disassembled the head I posted and I'm making another. I'll update the pattern if I can get it right this time. The rest of a fumo is easy peasy, and you pretty much can't do it wrong.

Easiest? Get some yellow felt and some yellow string. Use a piece of paper and trace the fumo eye onto it, then cut that out of the paper and use that to make a replica fumo eye from the yellow felt. Then sew along the edge, placing the yellow eye over the blue one.

The bottom is wonky because I got in a rush and didn't do it right. It's not a pattern problem, just a "i was almost done and couldn't be arsed to redo the seam." Just gotta slow down.

As far as precision, you can just pin your pattern piece to the fabric and hold it down. These pattern pieces are small enough that they don't shift much if properly secured.

I looked on Mandarake and they list the touhou fumos between 100-150 grams for each fumo, but if you add the package material then I think it would make sense to be about double that. Nevertheless if you want to be sure I'd suggest just asking your forwarder about the package content since there's no other way to know.

If you're unsure about what the package contains because Tenso said there were 2 items in the package when you ordered 1 item then just write to their customer support explaining the situation. There are many, many better tablets out there (this one can't play HD videos at all) but I got it for Christmas years ago and it took years to root (look up kindle firmware v5.3.2.1 on XDA Forums and all the measures Amazon took to prevent rooting hardware they were definitely selling at a loss) so it has sentimental value to me.

But yes, I'd love to have a more expensive tablet like Samsung where they don't care about loading custom ROMs and the hardware was able to play videos.

Inu Sakuya is small enough to always be on my desk, and Satori is almost never on the shelf since I sleep with her and put her on my desk in the morning. For covers you'll want to look at the material, my first one was "peach skin" and current is 2-way tricot. And again here the latter is absolutely worth the premium, it just feels a lot nicer on your skin. If you're unsure on the cover you could probably find a site that sells samples so you could get a feel for both before committing.

If you log into your Zenmarket account you should see the items on your account page. Your items can be stored in their warehouse for up to 45 days, after which you pay a small fee for each day they are in there.
