So I played the latest BISHOP trial.
Its was as expected.
MC has had a possesive personality since he was a child but couodnt do anything.
He aims at teachers because he developed a taste for inverting power imbalances.
The accomplice heroine is the nurse but we arent shown how the MC got her. As mentioned she doesnt likes being called an slave. It was kinda the same with Anna but it was an inner struggle within her rather than what this nurse does.

I don't want to spoil the story but that synopsis is misleading since there are a bunch of twists. As far as I've read(I've got 3/4 of the CG) the game is really weak on the netori/rape by protag content and there are tons of type C NTR.

Is Silicon Magic worth it for the raising aspect? I dipped my toe to https://vndb.org/v4651 and https://vndb.org/v8188 for the inbreeding and breast expansion, yet more excited on finding that the timed choices, multiple selections, and relationship gauges do increase the enjoyment. How do you guys get this to work? I added the crack and it said it was missing a dll file. So I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and moved the crack to the second inner folder (both have a musumama 6 file) and it opened up and crashed immediately.

Is there a trick to it? This seems pretty easy, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I use LEC and Atlas with japanese text as a third string. It works, google translate is better most of the time (but not all of the time), but I'm learning jap and have been doing it for long enough at this point that the dictionary translation is more a supplement.

Back when I started I didn't know any nip and google translate was fucking worthless so I used the dictionaries and they work well enough that as long as you can interpret the translations you will know what's going on in the story. I've reread some VNs I first read years ago before I knew any nip and I didn't miss anything important scenario-wise.

Anecdotal I know, but I just got to Miyuki's first h scene in JAST's translation of totono.
She's all of a sudden saying things like "fuck" and "cock" even though the original japanese script had none of those vulgarities in her speech.
EOPs who rely on any translation at all are subject to misinterpreting what the game says either through faulty machine grammar or translators taking liberties with the script.

The translator essentially has two jobs:
1. Translate the literal words on the page
2. Arrange them to be understandable by the end user.
A third step of localizing the script for an intended audience is an option too, but the degree to which it is applied can vary a lot.

In trying to make the reading enjoyable by the translator's own standards, what I feel they've done with totono's h-scene in >>24024185 is make a 4kids tv "dub script" rather than a "sub script" with the injected context-and-feeling profanity. It's a shame because up until then, the translation for the story portion seemed passable.
Keeping in mind that the character in question is a Japanese honor student type with appropriately conservative vocabulary, the switchout of her dialogue to some precocious American girl was quite jarring and in my opinion, the wrong move.

EOPs relying on such translators means they'll never know if they're getting memed because "it's more entertaining that way."

There's less of a barrier/more of an incentive for Japanese people to actually learn English so there's probably less complaining as the people who actually care just play English releases.

Translation has been an issue for millennia and that there is a whole academic discipline behind its theory and practice. There will always be disagreements over how to best translate something or else people wouldn't be re-translating the Bible over and over. The best thing you can do is to simply translate for your audience. Some translations seem more legitimate because they happen to be translated by people who are like "us" and share the same cultural contexts as us. Official translations may seem off because they're trying to reach an audience that is beyond us (i.e. the mainstream) and as a result refer to a different set of cultural contexts when translating a work.

I personally enjoyed it a lot but has some flaws like some characters have more scenes than others, some routes are just slice of life while others have serious plots, harem route is rather undeveloped and no pregnancy tachies except 1 girl.
But if you are looking for a raunchy nukige this isnt it. Try the Orcsoft elf game, granted if you can handle pot belly Ojisan protags.

This game is also a sequel, but only the teacher who is the previous MC shows up and referenced a bit of the original Shirabe game. You can skip the original but it has a lot of animated rape scenes.

I was thinking today about why I like saimin corruption games but I do not like Bishop or Miel games that much and I realized it's because I don't really like rape. I think it's hotter when the girls are reluctant at first, but rather than them submitting to the MC at first they are kind of 'talked into it', so to speak, or they are so drawn in by the MC's charms that they can't help themselves. When it's just 'rape them till they love you', I feel that is too over the top for me.
