I got permabanned for calling /jp/ mods tranny.
And the reason they gave me is I'm using proxy tor whatever shit they called. To be honest, I'm a neet, and I don't have a credit card, and I'm too poor to buy VPN and shit. But whatever, guess I'm finally free from 4chan. Goodbye guys, enjoy your /jp/ with your dear tranny mods.

I got ranged as well.
I don’t even know how far it goes (time of length), all I know is that I got it after waiting out my previous ban.
All I know about the situation is that it may be because of some idiots spamming cp on /tv/ as usual and getting nearly all of an ISP rangebanned or the fact that sincethe decade began, mods have been going straight for the rangebans instead of normal ones. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is another powertrip.
>just ban evade
Nein. There were times when I rolled IPs from shitters that somehow tanked their ban appeals. 10 rotten apples in a dozen accounted for doesn’t help any situation when they’re forcing people to pay for passes through unavoidable bans.

Why is tranny the default insult nowadays to people who feel the need to insult the moderation and then complain that they got banned?

>>23027966,7
>some idiots spamming cp on /tv/ as usual
I don't know why they keep that board up. It's just shitposting, off-topic actor/actress discussion, racebaiting, and literal pedos. I don't know why the archiver still archives it either.

>I don't know why they keep that board up.
It’s another containment board.
There are several containment boards. They all have a reason.

Off topic shit and new “rules” > /b/
It’s no different from using /bant/ to split /pol/ or act as a second /int/ or even something as blatant as having a board for mlp. moot wanted to talk about television and so it exists. Don’t question the usefulness, just know that the board exists. And it has a bad reputation for starting some of the most well known and possibly worst shitposts ever that somehow manage to never leave the 4chan-sphere.

>Why is tranny the default insult nowadays
The same reason ``faggot'' was the default insult 15 years ago. At that point in time ``faggot'' still had kick to it. Teenage boys and Internet tough guys who'd lurked too much SA were genuinely upset when someone suggested they were homosexual.

In the late 2000s and the 2010s the word ``faggot'' gradually lost its power from overuse, ironic use and the media pushing gay acceptance. As this happened tumblr came into prominence. Tumblr made gender and sexuality issues into a joke and a fashion statement and associated them with being easily offended and complaining a lot as well as with really stupid academic philosophy and political views. People with its outlook on life became prominent on the Internet, powerful due to having a personal army and also a laughingstock to those outside of their bubble. Many of them were trannies or ``genderfluid'' or ``nonbinary'' etc. People who disliked their ideology and them poking their nose in, for example, the translation of Japanese media noticed this. The Internet tough guys (/pol/) and teenage boys (/v/) among them adopted ``tranny'' as their go-to insult.

As a contemporary insult ``tranny'' carries not just connotations of sexual deviance and impurity but also of ideology, weakness and oversensitivity. Thus, ``mods are trannies'' suggests the mods are weak, oversensitive and culturally hostile to 4chan.

Cool story bro, but this is really recent and somehow tied to discord. Like they'll say "discord tranny go dilate". It has to be some recent influence, since it's more like that hotpockets phrase than a more general MODS=FAGS.

...Or maybe it's just because tranny rhymes with janny and they're used to saying "discord tranny" already.

The whole ``discord tranny" thing is probably because of servers that force things, notable one being the whole Reiko shit and a continuation of it by foxworth where they want to force anons into taking hormones.
Mostly I think ``tranny" is just a fotm insult
