3日目 is the third day, A is the row, 64a is the table. There is only one A row and that's how you find out which hall it is. You will have to look it up in a catalog, like the web catalog, DVD catalog or the printed one.

Tomorrow there is a circle I hope to visit. I have an old doujin of theirs. How awkward would it be to have them sign it? How do I even know the artist is there and not hired help selling on their behalf?

Additionally I plan to arrive before the first train, but the map in the book is not clear where the line starts. There are arrows from the closest stations, but they just go to the big open area in front of big site. Is that where the first line up or will I make a mistake going there?

Hiragana (あいう etc.) are west 西1-2, latin letters are west 3-4, katakana ア thru ト are south 南 1-2, katakana ナ thru リ are south 3-4.

Here's what genres are in each hall for days 3&4. Note it's not perfect since one circle might have works from several genres. It's also grouped more specifically than this as well, e.g. in the Idolm@ster area all the Chihaya works are in 厶10-16 etc.

Re:zero doujin circles were today (Saturday) if that's what you're asking. You could always check akiba in a few days.

To get the catalog to work properly you'll need to run it in Japanese locale. Either switch Windows to Japanese locale or download applocale to run it in JP with Windows set to EN.

I had my wristband already, but they didn't separate lines. My guess is that you would queue up normally, but right before you enter (where they check wristbands) you'd peel off and queue to buy them. Not sure how it works if you buy at the places other than under the conference center.

At big sight there's tents with a separate line to the side of the Kokusai Tenjijo stream of people to purchase wristbands. The thing is, you don't need the day's band to queue up in the early morning, so you can just leave to get the band once you have secured a spot. Once inside you can purchase the next days' bands in the Comiket goods desk between West 1/2. No idea if the stock ever runs out at these places though.

Ok guys I have to admit that I was a bit naughty today. I got to Tokyo Teleport at around 8:15 then I walked towards Big Sight past the queue. I then sneakingly joined in the queue without anyone noticing by sitting close by on the bench while people were sitting down, then when it started moving I moved with them. So i managed to get into the halls at 10:15! Sorry!

On another note, my feet hurt so bad. I walked every row in all the halls on Day 2 and 3 (Day 1 I had work, and Day 4 I will have work).

Did not notice that line on day 3, I was in line on the connecting bridge between the two islands. It was a half hour or longer walk from Kokusai-Tenjijou to the end of the line. Joined line around 8:00, was inside around 10:45.
Today was worse, again that long ass walk from the station and again on top of the connecting bridge. Joined line around 7:30, inside past 11. Looking back it would have been better to use the Tokyo Teleport station as it was just around the corner of the line end. Day 3 was a big success for me but day 4 somewhat less.
