You're may be right in naming encephalitis as a suspected cause of death. Japan is currently going through one hell of a flu outbreak. Both human->human and animal->human transmission types are present.

Furthermore, the strain present is capable of causing encephalitis in patients. It doesn't happen often but...still. RIP Rina. If encephalitis was indeed the cause, I hope that no one else suffers from it.

In America, people say take Vitamin C when you are sick.

However, they don't realize that your body pees away extra Vitamin C that they don't need.

When you are sick, Vitamin D3 is more important but most sick people don't have the energy to dose themselves in sunlight because sick people usually don't like brightness.

So like when you are sick, 1 daily Vitamin D3 2000 IU would probably be more effective than Vitamin C.

What I have noticed of people in Japan is that they tend to have poor manners around coughing, and I think this comes from over use of masks.

If you see someone coughing in Japan without a mask on they very rarely cover their mouth with anything, hand or arm, probably because they are so used to wearing a mask that its a habit.

Considering with colds and the flu you can spread the disease before you show symptoms yourself this is probably attributes partially to why they are such a problem and why they spread so easily.

I, >>16630708, have not worn a mask at all yet. Whether it is because I have kept my Vitamins up, have a stronger immune system or what, I don't know.

Yes it is.
There a few idol and Japanese music artists that have died or been killed mysteriously since the 1980s.

/jp/ use to have "Japanese conspiracy" threads about general Japanese real life mystery and conspiracies.

I might be pushing the /jp/ mental boundaries here for what I'm going to say next and always seems to hit too close to home for several of their fan followings here on ota making them mad to the point of ridiculing us few who know of this subject.

I know of several Japanese music artists that have been murdered almost at random labeled as "random attacks" by released convicts and of course several famous mysterious deaths that have happened to female artists in Japan.

Recently as the start of 2014 we have seen several huge name artists and bands that are taking on a dark contrast approach to Japanese music pop culture. To name some examples would be Pamyu Pamyu, FEMM, and Baby Metal. Each of these bands and artist along with other minor ones gained huge popularity in Japan around the same time. All 3 use almost openly satanic symbols and lyrics as well as public interviews that they mention occult spirituality like the tero cards or what others call "gag persona" or "character band themed" roles for the band's reputation.

What you're seeing in Japan and Korean pop music is decades worth of hard work of the kabalah American music industry coming to furwishen of trying to break into these two countries (mostly japan) music industries.

The few mysterious Japanese idol and artists deaths we are seeing is nothing less than real assaination conspiracy against the artists who are refusing accept a satantic American music take over in Japan. It's possible these artists are dying because they are seen as a threat of possibly leaking the news to the public.
An entire monthly thread could be made on this subject easily if the community allowed/considered it Otaku culture.
