The company I work for has a partnership with NEC, and I have 2 to 3 business trips per year, to Japan.

I always pretend that I know minimal Japanese, so I always get to hear everyone talking about me behind my back. They see us as subhumans, in all honesty. The times when we go out to drink to "bond" are just opportunities for them to drill me with questions and attempt to get some dirt on me. Japanese code monkeys and salarymen are absolute masters in manipulation. Once you leave the large cities and starting hitting the outskirts, you get treated even worse. I always hear store clerks say things to the other workers like: "shit, here comes another filthy foreigner," followed by a fake smile and an energetic "HERRO! NEED HELP?" once I lock eyes with them.

I like the food, though.

I was once told in a dream, that going to Japan wouldn't make me happy. Because if I went there with a negative karmic state, then nothing would be different or better, which is what all virgin/otaku seem to think about Japan.

So make sure you've maintained a positive karmic state through meditation before you go to Japan. Mushishi tells you this too in one of its stories, where you go mostly depends on your spiritual karmic energy. I'm not fucking with you. I mostly believe I have a spiritual connection to japan, but then I don't even need to go there, I could simply meditate, and the spiritual energy would sort something out.

Japs are generally bad at genuine socialization; they either keep up the politeness facade or they'll be sarcastic dicks, as you described. Where does the stereotype of Americans being xenophobic or racist even come from? Americans aren't even a race. To be American is just to live here and adopt the culture. It's not racist to shit on people for living here and not becoming an American. Hell, half the country praises them for refusing to assimilate. Who are you quoting? It's obviously not me, since I tried my best to clear up any misconceptions. Germans killed a lot of Europeans over racism and English killed a lot of Irish and Indians for money. Russians and Chinese killed millions over nothing and glorify that period in their history to this day. We don't go around shitting on them because of their history all the time.
