Yea, it's kind of weird they don't have one, and as someone else mentioned, even freshly graduated Sakura Gakuin members have Twitter and/or Instagram. I get the feeling Babymetal won't get to do it either. As backwards as it sounds, it seems like Amuse are keeping their biggest acts away from social media. The only reason I could think is to make the membership stuff more exclusive and make people more willing to sign up but I assume you make more money in the long run connecting with as many fans as possible.

Seeing how communication with anything Perfume related is tight as fuck, it's not going to happen, ever.

It has nothing to do with keeping stuff more exclusive and make people more willing to sign up considering that PTA isn't getting much either anyway. If they wanted to go broad with "backstage content", even through paid channels such as fanclub, they would have done so already.

Amuse just want to control everything about their image and it's easier to do so when the girls can't post anything freely (even on the PTA site, everything posted goes through some PR person, I don't see Kashi using a CMS to post her shit online herself...)

The whole SNS Strategy at Amuse is non existent for Perfume. They have absolutely no clue on how to manage a Facebook page properly. I'm managing a 250K fans page for a global brand and yeah I can easily tell that they don't have a social media manager.
