it's an anime adapted from a light novel that has a separate manga series adaptation to boot and has seeped into every corner of otaku culture, including but not limited to: kigurumi, figures, idols, trains, all manner of fanworks, cosplay, and even tea.
so who the fuck are you to say k-on is not otaku culture? k-on is a gazillion times more otaku culture than your sh*tty Korean idol threads.
but besides that i don't really see what this thread has to do with k-on at all, that's not even azusa in the original post.
