And the only otaku games I own on PS3 are Trinity Universe and The iDOLM@STER 2, and arguably VC1. And AC 4 I guess robots are otaku.

The only games I have for it are Resistance, Motorstorm, Warhawk and GTA IV.

You can buy a little thing for SD micro cards that lets you use them in the PSP. Costs something like a dollar, so it's pretty cheap.

What they showed of the PS4 during the unveil in February was very disappointing. I'm pretty underwhelmed by the specs of the system, and they had zero interesting titles to show. It'll need some good otaku centric games or exclusives before I pick it up, because I am certainly not going to buy one to play another shitty Killzone game and 360/PS3 multiplats.

I'd wait until they drop the price for the Vita in the west, they already did it in Japan it should be a matter of time before they do it here. And localisations take a while, they are only just slowly starting to roll out in the west for the 3DS.

the best time to get a vita in the west was when they were 150 on black friday, but if you missed that or wanted the 3g version, it's best just to wait

and the wii u is basically a really powerful DS, and the DS had a lot of good games even with 8MB of RAM, so it has a chance, but it all depends on the game makers and the exclusives in the end, the earlier you buy a console the more of a gamble you make, but you also give the console more buyers and more buyers means more games for it, so the market is a cycle where it's best to just crowd together with your favorite choice then pray it's the most popular

that said, the 720 is an illogical choice no matter how you look at it based on the 360 and its specs and no early release advantage

There is nothing all that custom about the CPU or GPU. The whole idea is that they are using computer parts to make development easier. In fact the Durango and PS4 have pretty much the exact same CPU. And the OS "overhead" argument doesn't really hold up that much any more, considering these systems have full fledged operating systems that require just as much memory as Windows.
