Someone already made a droid port for one of the games.

It was horrible. Not the port itself, but actually playing a complete danmaku game on a small touchscreen. It was nearly impossible even on Easy. I don't understand how you think this could be a good idea.

I've been messing around with bullet hell on android and honestly the controls are just not there for the same level of difficulty, especially if you do not have physical buttons.
A direct port of touhou would probably play pretty shitty.

Either game speed or pattern density needs to suffer because of the input complications, especially on small screens.

I'm also having a love hate relationship with mapping touch to the character position instead of virtual buttons. Being able to directly affect character position by sliding a finger around the screen gets around the input issues, but you can barely see your character which makes pixel accurate grazing hell. Additionally it feels weird staring at your finger all the time...
