I don't know about translations, but there are many circles for that: アンニュイ赤蛸, RUMP, 悠久機関車, サイチル (as mentioned above), some stuff from ふあん亭, ハイパーサマーウォーズ (pictured). There are way more but these are the only ones I can remember off of the top of my head right now.

Why do people like this guy so much? What exactly am I missing when I read his doujins? His stories are average at best. His crowning achievement is making the vampires with double fangs showing. That is cute.

Probably the same people that like Stripe Pattern, or those that think Stripe Pattern is too mainstream. Since translated "grimdark truGensokyou" doujinshi are fairly uncommon, the few that are will be fairly well received.

AlicexRinnosuke doujinshi. Only one has ever been uploaded is pic related. It's adorable love shit that isn't too lovey dovey and Rinnosuke stays oblivious most of the time.

It really depresses me when a good circle goes from making great non-ero doujinshi to shitty ero doujinshi. 音速うばぐるま and ビタミンごはん and いよかん。 are just some circles that went down this path, and usually, they don't go back.

I don't understand why people mind when circles do this kind of thing. It's always nice to find an author who draws some cute touhous doing lewd things. It's also charming to see an ero artist doing some non-ero. The author of touhou wacky racers is a great example of this. As far as I'm aware, he did a lot of ero (like Sakuya's legendary whore quest) and was pretty good at it, too.
