None except wizard dreams only give you 100 stock while stocks from spellbooks depend on your memorization. Basically, if a spell costs 50 mp, it'll use 50 stock, so a wizard dream would only let you cast a 50 mp spell twice before you run out of stock.

For all the wannabe spellcasters btw, the heavier your equipment, the lower the chance of casting spells. If you really want to cast spells, take off all your gear til you have 'light armor' class. Otherwise, enjoy your 5%.

Also, raising skills associated to certain stats will raise them. For example, if you want to raise STR, use skills that have the Dual Swords icon by them. As they increase, so will your strength.

When you reach a higher level, it's not a bad idea to keep a spare weapon on you side that's different from your main one and use that during weak ambushes and dungeons.
