I have to go get supplies for the hurricane tomorrow. It'll be here around Tuesday-it'll just be a storm, but our house will lose power.

Losing power is awful and we don't have a generator. I need to go buy some GBA games (GBA original was the last handheld to use AA batteries, which I can buy a heap of to last weeks, instead of needing to be charged from a wall or a car outlet) water for drinking and handwashing, and I might get some alcohol to make all of it slightly more fun. Maybe I can get my parents to drink with me and we can play Monopoly or some other board game together like a hopeful Russian family. I have lots of books I can read, but reading is for homos.

I hope my local game shop has some cool GBA games. I wanna get Mario and Luigi, a Castlevania game, and maybe FF VI if they have it there (It's kind of rare). I have advance wars and pokemon, but I've played those through during power outages like a billion times.

Wish me luck, /jp/. I will miss you all for a few days. Living in the woods is cool until this sort of shit happens.

Does anyone else want to live in a hole?

The government gives me about 600 dollars a month and that's nice of them, but if it wasn't for my mother then I would have trouble surviving off this money. I've looked around and I could afford the rent of a few small houses in trailer parks, but the people in those areas are violent and scary.

I just want to live in a hole with electricity, internet, a computer, food, and enough room on the floor to sleep. That way no one can bother me since I'm underground and I still have cheap rent.

I don't mind travelling to a grocery store every few months to stock up on cheap canned foods and things like that, but I want to be able to live somewhere that feels at least slightly safe so I guess I would like the hole to be in an area where I have no neighbors to bully or rob me but still close enough to civilization that I can get electricity and some type of internet that's better than satellite.
