I used to use alcohol a lot, but it made me say really stupid embarrassing things on the internet. Also it got expensive, caused weight gain, and it was hard for me to deal with not being drunk.

I use caffeine in a sense, but only as a byproduct of enjoying delicious tea and coffee.

I got some opiate painkillers after I had my wisdom teeth out. Those were quite lovely.

I guess I'd be interested in at least trying some other substances, but what am I supposed to do -- ask my parents to find some street dealers for me?

It's very difficult to describe the effects of LSD to another, but in a way, you won't just be "hearing" music anymore. Your senses might cross wires and you will be "tasting" it or "seeing" it.

avoid anything you don't like. also, try to keep a space where you could roll around on the floor and be safe. bundles of blankets help, but maybe push tables to the edge of the room. people will be able to tell you are on drugs. I strongly suggest reading more from other more learned sources.
