i never want to go to a Japanese related place again with my parents. Today i went to a sushi place and when we were seated my mom's boyfriend asked the waitress " So i was wonder why do you guys have squintiy eyes?"
and the waitress just gave him a nasty stare. Then when were got our menus my mom read on the top "please finish whats on your plate before ordering more food" My mom started to rant on why it is saying that and wouldn't listen to me on why it is disrespectful to do that. Then when we were eating my moms boyfriend yelled at the waitress asking her why they didn't have forks. Now this one isn't as bad as what my mom and her boyfriend did but i still hated how my brother put his chopsticks in his rice and kept showing the waitress and he sure as hell knew what it meant. I am wondering if anyone else has ever had a problem with ignorant parents

I really hope that's not true. Casual racism in asian restaurants is a time honored tradition, but that's just disgusting.
