Post in here if you're in love with a touhou!

Seriously though, I know a lot of people are in love with a certain touhou (or at least say they are) but I always wonder if they love the canon personality or the fanon one. Fanon always seemed to embellish their personalities and make them a lot nicer and cuter than in canon.

Best Touhou

In many respects that is like a real relationship then, do you love the individual for who they are, or an idealized version.

What if you think you love them for who they are, but only really love the idealized version of them that exists in your mind?

Thats essentially what I was trying to say, guess it didn't get across, sorry.

This is what waifufags do. They rarely talk about real, canon characters.

Well the canon personalities of almost all the touhous are very basic and not all that fleshed out. It's almost impossible to like them just for how they are in game.

I fell in love with one character. I came to appreciate her through playing her game as well as reading about her in the print works. I captured a couple of her spellcards, she captured my heart. I'm not very good at the games though.

The ingame dialogue didn't reveal much about her but I loved her PMiSS entry

>She is not overly concerned with payment her services.
>Her medicines are not only very effective, but carry a fair price. And even if you can't pay immediately, she will wait however long it takes for the payment.
>Even if if you suddenly fall ill while poor, she will kindly examine you.

It just supported my view of her as a mature doctor who has the good of other people in mind.

But there comes a point where you just have to guess. You can't ever know everything about a character, or a real person either. But then there's also taking it to far and ignoring obvious aspects of their character just because it doesn't fit into your idealized vision of them, which is what /a/ does.

It's okay, I was just kinda trying to make it sound more complicated or something, I don't know, screw you.
