A couple of beginner tips
If you're smoking alone and you don't know what you're doing
Break up the bud
You want to get rid of as many stems and seeds as possible. Especially seeds. if you're smoking through a pipe and a seed gets heated up, it can shoot through the pipe as you inhale like a hot bullet. It won't do any real damage to you, but it's not fun

Take hard hits.
Most people don't get high the first time because they don't hit hard enough. Take strong inhales. The thicker and whiter the smoke is, the harder you hit.

Even if you smoke a whole bowl, but you took pussy hits, you won't get that high

Do NOT try to inhale with all your lunch capacity. A rookie mistake is to try too hard and end up accidentally swallowing some of the smoke.
If you do, you'll end up feeling like shit. You'll probably throw up and feel like you have a flu.

Don't get paranoid. No matter how high or fucked up you feel. You will NOT die. Some first time smokers get anxiety attacks because they "oded'
