Did anyone happen to notice that the 'Field 3' track of the Monmusu OST is an arrange of Chireiden's stage 5 theme?

It's pretty good. There are a lot of other famous and obscure songs ripped off in this OST.

Yeah, it's actually a legit arrange by O Life Japan.
And it was originally Field 2, but they took it out and replaced it. Rogue Translator just left it in because people liked it.

If you mean recommendations from O-Life Japan or that album in general, I would recommend just searching "O-Life Japan" or "オーライフジャパン" in youtube, maybe add Touhou, and listen to what comes up, maybe find the themes for characters you like. Nicovideo also recently added English support to the entire website, so now is a good time to make an account and search there too. That SA album is fantastic though.

If you mean Touhou arranges in general, I find it incredibly difficult to make recommendations as there are simply so many out there and many that cater to different music genres and tastes. I would recommend lurking /jp/ doujin music threads as they come up and downloading as many albums as possible and see what you like. Or find the albums that cater to your music tastes. Especially be on the lookout near Comiket and Reitaisai as many new albums and arranges will be uploaded.
It is also a good idea to visit the archive and search through past Touhou arrange and doujin music threads. Many links will still work.

I think I've heard it before and it's been bugging me every time I think back. I just can't think of a name.

There are several, so I don't know which one you want.
If you have the physical game, all the music files are in the game folder, in the bgm folder, so you can listen to them there.

Battle themes are called:
battle
battlestart
boss0
boss1
boss2
yonseirei
yonseirei2
sitenno

I assume you are looking for sitenno, as that's the only real one with a definite name.

Late reply, I forgot about my post here.
I'm referring to 'battle', the first from the top.
I remember seeing a video with this instrumental but it had vocals.
I am certain that it was song produced before the game.
