Washing clothes while showering is something I've heard travelers often do. And dumpster diving is very good, especially with all the completely packaged food that they throw away. I have done it myself, you get enough to eat for a week often.

But I don't think it is very hikitruNEET, because going out to a dumpster and sifting through it in the middle of the night requires the courage to actually go outside, and face up to anyone who might take issue with your actions (though they are legal in most places).

Rather irrelevant, but as someone who's been regularly diving for food since the mid 90s I'm not all that fond of how popular it's gotten. The last two years have been especially bad, everything is utterly barren these days and I'm forced to go to worse and worse neighborhoods to avoid the heavy competition, which might not seem so bad, but dealing with crackheads is hardly worth it when you realize poor people throw out FAR less usable stuff than middle class folk.

No, phages are already abundant, and have very low host specificity. Instead of giving an antibiotic that wipes out a persons gut flora, you give them a cocktail of phages specific for strains of one species. Further research could probably result in genetic engineering of phages for a wider range of host bacteria, but they're far better than antibiotics because viruses actually evolve if the bacteria evolve to protect themselves.
