I have no idea. I lost all desire to play White 2. The copy of Alundra I bought refuses to work on either of my PS2s and the PS1 I bought. The SNES controller I bought is absolute shit and it would make playing anything a nightmare, so I had to go and spend more money than I wanted on an official controller, but that probably won't be here for another week or so, no SNES until then. I have no idea what to do now.

No. My graphics card is fucked up and it makes PS1 emulation pretty much impossible. Even if there weren't graphical glitches, my monitor is still covered in flashing blue pixels everywhere, so it would be annoying as shit anyways.

There's nothing wrong with having an official controller, it's just that 3rd party controller = $4, official controller = $12. I didn't want to have to spend that much. Yes, I played PS1 games on my PS2s for years and they (mostly) worked fine. Recently, I've experienced freezing and other weird things when playing CD based games on my PS2s, so I'm pretty sure they're just dying at this point. They've gotten old. Haven't bothered playing anything else on the PS1 yet, since I have no reason to.

Yep. Which is why I say they're just getting old. They have trouble reading CD based PS2 games as well. Though this still doesn't explain why the Alundra disc would freeze in the exact same place in the PS1. The disc looks pretty much brand new, I find it hard to believe that the one or two very tiny miniscule scratches on it would prevent the disc from working, considering that my PS2s have played games in FAR worse condition.
