I have 2 months worth of Citalopram here. Wikipedia says:

The LD50 is 179 mg/kg in mice, multiply that by your weight and see how much you'd need to take. Chances are its going to be ridiculously high. I don't think many people try to commit suicide by taking just an SSRI, so you'd probably be better off with something else.

Overdosing is the worst way to kill yourself. It's a good way to attract attention, since it's pretty much the easiest way to have a fake suicide attempt and end up in the hospital since there's not a significant immediate danger in an overdose.
It has a like 20% success rate.

With good knots, and 30min-1hr of privacy, strong rope, strong thing to tie rope to, hanging is reliable and cheap. Not very quick, but if you want to die then it's the certainty more than the discomfort that will affect your decision the most.

Helium asphyxiation (ala the 'exit bag', see wikipedia) is tricky to set up, but the reward is a painless, quick, way to go.
Quick as in less than a minute quick. Inert gas asphyxiation is really quite deadly, and it's a silent killer.

Nope, overkill doesn't work.
When you ingest such huge amounts of drugs, they give you a good chance to induce nausea. Basically, you eat too many pills and you vomit.

Overdosing is stupid, and ineffective. I could probably pull it off, but I have a detailed knowledge of pharmaceuticals, so I actually understand what's going on.
One way to absorb pills is to crush them up, dissolve them in water, and give yourself an enema with it. Even if you vomit, the chemicals will still get absorbed. It guarantees that whatever you stick up your ass will get put into the bloodstream. That's one way, but still, overdosing is unreliable.

If you want about 12 hours of suffering, and then waking up in hospital, then this is a good idea.
Oh and you will probably ruin kidneys/liver, giving you a very slow, very agonising, painful death over about 5-8 years.
If you want to die, then it's a really bad idea.

I remember reading that a very small minority of people who attempt to die by cutting their wrists actually die. I don't remember the exact number, but it was less than 10%.

It'll probably hurt quite a bit, then you'll bleed for a while, then you'll pass out and wake up later feeling like an anemic retard covered in a pool of your own blood.
