SEL is a super otaku anime! Very deep ideas in it and Lain is a computer geek like me so its easy to relate. The show is really scary so I recommend you watch it at night with the lights off. You aren't a tru weeaboo if you havnt given this anime a watch!

My point was not all that keep being posted and discussed here is something that /jp/ approves by majority or even by a 50%.

This board is full of autists that like to repost the same thing over and over.

It might be counterintuitive, but I think the more a VN is discussed the less it is actually considered good.

For example Bldr Sky\Force are the most appreciated VN on /jp/, but nobody talks about them.

Instead you get a lot of threads about Katawa Shoujo, Umineko, Yume Miru Kusuri and so on. Most of the time it isn've even a /jp/er that start the thread, it's some guy from /a/ or another board who just recently finished them. Other times it's just someone who likes to troll by continuously reposting content about a VN hated by anyone here.

If you want to be a regular /jp/er, then you can use common sense and lurk before you ask stupid questions. We don't have, "/jp/ MUST PLAY!!!" threads every day, so if someone politely asks for recommendations in the VN general thread, I will happily help them. But creating some "infographic" or FAQ guide is completely superfluous. If you need to be spoonfed like that, I don't want you in /jp/ (and I doubt many other regulars do, either).
