Greetings, /jp/. I am in need of your help.

I am writing a small essay regarding Japanese society's problems. Initially I thought that I would have no trouble finding materials, but several hours later I discovered that I'm out of topics. I would be grateful if you gave me advice on what else to write about.

Points I already covered:

fucked up office mentality;
power abuse and harassment at work;
parent/child conflict (lumped freak fashion in there);
degenerating family unit;
overwhelming conformism and social pressure;
hikikomoris;
meaningless social rituals;
stressful everyday life;
karoshi and suicides.

What else should I write about? I need about five-six more topics, each enough to fill at least a page.
Tasukete?

Economics: The economy is weak and has been weak for two decades. There is a lack of innovation and growth. The idea of lifetime employment and steady advancement is started to lose luster. Public debt is high, which is only okay because it's domestically held by Japanese people who are fine with abysmal interest rates.

History: When and where did these problems start to emerge? How did was the Japanese "miracle economy" reduced to its current state? What systems collapsed that led to the creation of the problems you describe?

To add perspective, you should add a few pages on Japan's future prospects and what society is attempting to do to combat these ills, if anything.

School bullies in japan can be pretty nasty.
also, there are legions of invisible hobos in the big cities, and many countryside places suffer from youth immigrating to the urban centers, with partial loss of traditions. there's the problem of yakuza cohexisting with police and government like if its a normal thing.

I turned in long research paper that got a B because it was "very well written, but mostly a synthesis paper" because the analysis consisted mostly of agreeing with other people's existing recommendations.

Frankly I think Japanese are way too much self-deprecating themselves. They keep saying that they face economic crisis, but then you look at the GDP of worldwide countries and you find out they are on third place with a mere 100 million inhabitants.

The truth is that they're not doing miracles like they did after the war and they call it "crisis".

I have defeated countless opponents using Aikido, and they always ask me, Why are you so strong?
I answer, I'm not strong, you are.
Aikido uses the strength of the attacker back at them but 10 times stronger(estimate). Using Aikido and I can probably kill a charging Rhino using it's force right back at it, of course, I'm not going to try it, way to dangerous for any sane person.
I recommend practicing Aikido for every /jp/edo, as you are all physically weak, and Aikido is specialized for the weak to defend against the strong.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDnYNroUmNs
A 50 year old man with cerebral palsy doing Aikido, very touching.
Arguably the most powerful martial arts in Japan.
An Aikido practitioner is practically invincible, no one of any martial arts background can ever land a punch or kick on one.
Using the power of the attacker, the Aikido practitioner uses absolutely no energy to knock them down.
A fearsome martial arts it is.

I went to Yoshinoya a while ago; you know, Yoshinoya?
Well anyways there was an insane number of people there, and I couldn't get in.
Then, I looked at the banner hanging from the ceiling, and it had "150 yen off" written on it.
Oh, the stupidity. Those idiots.
You, don't come to Yoshinoya just because it's 150 yen off, fool.
It's only 150 yen, 1-5-0 YEN for crying out loud.
There're even entire families here. Family of 4, all out for some Yoshinoya, huh? How fucking nice.
"Alright, daddy's gonna order the extra-large." God I can't bear to watch.
You people, I'll give you 150 yen if you get out of those seats.
Yosinoya should be a bloody place.
That tense atmosphere, where two guys on opposite sides of the U-shaped table can start a fight at any time,
the stab-or-be-stabbed mentality, that's what's great about this place.
Women and children should screw off and stay home.

We could have written about anything we liked, as long as it related to international political economy in some way. The problem on my end was that I picked my topic and my eight papers, read them all, and had finished drafting most of the essay without ever finding some sort of new angle on the topic and I wasn't going to do that shit over again. I also dedicated too much room in the essay to summary and not enough to concrete policy recommendations.
