Now my parents are waiting me to get another job, but searching it's a pain in the ass, so I get one or two interviews per week, and that is all I do.

Can someone tell me what it's like to be on autism bux? I've been a NEET for many years, so I know plenty about that, but it has always been with the expectation that my life will go somewhere else, that I got plenty more coming for me.

So what is it like to just settle down completely, accept that you're so fucked up that you're incapable of generating an income and need gentle government workers to pay all your bills?

I can't believe I'm talking about it so negatively, for years I've dreamed about never having to work another day in my life. But when I can finally realize the option is open to me.. She previously sent me to a guy who said I probably have assburgers, and I pussied out realizing how bad it would be for my confidence to officially get diagnosed with something like that. Ever since, my doctor and the government people have tried to push me to finish getting diagnosed, so they can "better adjust to my needs".

I admit, it would be a little easier if someone could confirm that it's not the best choice if you have other options, but I really just want to hear what people have to say about it. I don't like choices where the alternatives are uncertain.

>> No.9825490

>>9825456
First of all, being mentally disabled isn't something that just goes away. It's a stigma that will linger on long after you get off the bucks. Second of all, things like the army or important commercial jobs will never allow you in. And third of all, the black spot on your employment history means an uphill battle in today's economy to find entry level labor.

Those are the only real costs, since if you're actually disabled and not just an assburger faking it for money, the social price had been paid a long time ago. If you want to live alone on it, you won't have a penny left for your hobbies, or anything nonessential, so you're left basically living with your family, or finding a normie to shack up with on craigslist.

If you do have understanding and loving parents, then you can help out with the bills with more than enough for your hobbies, so you can enjoy an unprecedented quality of life. That's the perk. Worth it to you?

That sounds... pretty bad. I probably haven't considered this part thoroughly enough, I've just seen /jp/ers claim that they use their autismbux to buy figures and onaholes, while forgetting completely that I know for a fact that the money fully disabled people are entitled to in my country are barely enough to live on.

If you've never had a job just lie or have been unemployed for longer than 3 months. 9 times out of 10 they're not even going to check for entry level positions. How feasible is it to become a citizen of one of those idyllic northern European countries like the Netherlands? I have about 5k, thinking I can sell everything and head there.

>> No.9828395

>>9828270
I don't think Netherlands is considered north European.

Anyway, I think the immigration process is the same in most countries, north European or not: You have to apply for a visa of some kind, a work visa or a student visa being the most common, and then you have to wait a really long time, like 7 years or something, to actually gain permanent citizenship.

It's perfectly doable if you're a skilled worker who plans to come here, learn the language and find steady employment. But you can't really immigrate just to leech off a more benevolent welfare system. And if you're an unskilled worker.. I'd say that looking for an entry level job as an immigrant who lacks basic proficiency in the local language probably wouldn't be easier than your current situation, even when considering that the north European job market is probably more stable than in whatever country you come from.

It generally goes like this:

PATH 1: You are an unskilled worker. You can come in and work in some type of labor of which there is a shortage. When you're done you get the fuck out.

PATH 2: You are a skilled worker. You can come in and work if you have pre-arranged employment somewhere. You can stay for long periods of time and eventually become a citizen if you want. But of course if you aren't working they will kick you out.

The Netherlands isn't northern europe, and their welfare isn't really the top tier stuff you're looking for. Can anyone elaborate on this? I don't want to join the military, so I'm not worried about that part in the least, but how does it affect job prospects in a way that years of typical NEEThood doesn't? Will being previously diagnosed with a mental disability still cause you problems after 'recovering'?

Also can anyone elaborate on exactly what kind of income you can get from autism bux in the US? I've got some brain problems of my own and a quite a bit of mental illness in my family, so if I bothered to get diagnosed I would have a reasonable shot at qualifying. I have no stable income and over a year of unemployment, so it would by no means a downgrade from my current situation, but I'm mainly concerned about how this can affect my prospects in the future, especially if the economy starts recovering.

If I do get on autism bucks I probably won't be living off of it exclusively in the first place. I'll try to get on other benefits programs, (can you get foodstamps/welfare in addition to disability? I don't know much about them.) and supplement it with under-the-table work that might come my way. (If I need the money, anyway.) Either way I'll generally just spend as little money as possible and put away everything I can, while trying to devise a way to increase my income, or maybe even just do therapy and try to get my life back on track.

The laughter is more or less laughing at stupid things and not spontaneous though.

I have a mirror in my room and I look different to myself almost every day. I also feel like I am dreaming when I often am not, the thought of "is this real?" crosses my mind. I sometimes have waves of depersonalization too.

Then you need to find someone else who will keep you just for being pretty, i.e. be a wife.

But even that involves work to keep yourself nice and desirable (at least until marriage).

Why don't you just live in a shipping container, /jp/?

This guy did it and it only cost him £40 a week to live in a shipping container that he had converted into something that looked like a comfortable studio apartment with electricity and internet access. Working isn't the problem here, it's working a disproportionately large amount of time in exchange for purchasing something that is obscenely overpriced. Just look at any city or large suburb. You will see thousands of apartments that are the same size as that container, but they are paying over a thousand dollars a month for something that is really only worth 100-200 dollars a month at the absolute most.

It's typical for the people to gloss over the facts of what's actually required for nutrition and call loads of cheap carbs adequate food.

You have no reading comprehension. The initial point that the poor are slightly overweight on average (actually, aren't all americans slightly overweight on average?) as proof that the poor have enough money for food.

You cannot define X amount of calories a day as "enough money for food" when the macro and micro nutrient makeup in that food is insufficient and will eventually kill you from various deficiencies. Therefore, someone being overweight is not proof that they can afford enough food to live.

You fat faggot.

Except that's wrong. You can live fine as long as you have enough calories, that's a proven nutritional fact. You might have a few strength and performance issues, but that's not the point. Stop justifying your obesity with bullshit science and get some fucking exercise.

Actually defining "having enough money for food" as "having enough money consume over your caloric maintenance" is perfectly reasonable.

Go read the /fit/ sticky. It's a shitty board but it has some good knowledge about basic nutrition which you seem to lack.

Cheap American food is worse than staples. It's not just insufficient for nutrition, a lot of it actually actively damages your body, which increases your medical bills, which takes away even more of your money and further decreases your quality of life.

I'm not going to pretend that being below the poverty line in Africa is better than making minimum wage in America, but considering all the resources America has, there sure are a lot of people there with completely miserable lives.

Healthy food is not THAT expensive. Just a bit more than a junk food. But glorious USA citizens will continue to shove burgers down their mouths because they are lazy and ignorant. It's USA, after all.
They have the ability to eat healthy but they are not using it. And anyways since they are not dying at the age of 15 or even 20 then I'm gonna to assume that you are wrong about your eventual killing stuff.

>Scarcity is the fundamental economic problem of having humans who have unlimited wants and needs in a world of limited resources. It states that society has insufficient productive resources to fulfil all human wants and needs. Alternatively, scarcity implies that not all of society's goals can be pursued at the same time; trade-offs are made of one good against others.

If you would just read what I told you to you wouldn't need to ask stupid questions.

So this concept of scarcity you keep talking about defines human wants as fucking infinite, then proceeds to reason that since it's infinite and supply is finite, not all human wants can be fulfilled.

What about the corn? They need to stuff cows full of antibotics because they put them on a diet before slaughter that will kill them promptly if the slaughterhouse doesn't, in order to fatten them up. As a result, the omega 3:6 ratio of the fat in the meat gets fucked up.

Cows are meant to eat grass, not a slurry of grains.

Maybe it's not so much the premise that is retarded - though it is pretty questionable and delves into psychology, not economics - but the way you are trying to apply it.

He just wants the basics for every human. He listed those basics. He is not defining the wants of those humans as infinite. Or are you trying to swat away his argument by "it won't work because some people are too greedy and want much more than that"? Smooth.

Yes!!! Make sure to go to a public facility (mental ward or something similar) for your problems so the government can retrieve those documents as proof of your disability.

You'll have to go to a interview once every 7 years to make sure you still have your disabilities, if you live in America. I think you can avoid this by going to a mental hospital of some kind once every 7 years.

I've been living with my parents as a NEET for the past couple years. I haven't gone back to school because it was driving me insane and I feel like I've forced myself to do everything in my life so far. I'm too afraid to apply for autismbux because I feel like it's too strict and I'll end up in deeper shit for trying to/actually receiving it. You guys give me some hope, though. If I've been receiving mental health treatment for major, clinical depression/an unspecified mood disorder and social anxiety for the past year and a half to no avail am I pretty much a shoe-in for autismbux despite not having any prior work experience? I haven't even paid taxes. Every time I read the guidelines on the social security websites I'm overwhelmed and feel like I'd never be eligible. I also know I have a lot of potential but living like a "normal person" just makes me insane and eventually I just can't handle it anymore; I need more freedom. When I was in school I used to come home and cry for hours at least a few times a week because of how much conforming to those expectations was fucking me up. I feel like it's become more pervasive as I've aged and just managing to exist takes all of my effort which isn't exactly reassuring. I can't imagine further having to work most of my life on top of it.
