Would you give in to vampirism or immortality

Immortality obviously.

Does being a vampire mean I have to take orders from Remilia?

Because that's how it works in WoD and Remi seems pretty bossy.

Magician brand immortality for me

I really don't like food that much and find it a chore to have to eat to avoid pain and survive. Plus I like the thought of an extended period of life where I can look young for hundreds of years without the catch that I have to hurt humans to maintain that. I also don't want to live forever, I get scared at the thought of outliving the planet and floating through space for the rest of time.

>> No.9804606

I'll take it.

I just want anything that makes me special and grants me power.

>> No.9804616

>>9804590
But eating is fun! And imagine being a vampire, you couldn't absorb it so you can eat whatever you want. I don't know what happens after that though.
And that last part is counting on humans never being able to leave Earth long-term, which we;re already close to achieving, so you don't have to worry about that. I bet in 100 years we'll already have artificial biodome space stations.

>> No.9804611

The thing is, Vampire immortality usually comes with caveats attached to it: i.e. you can't eat garlic, go out in the sun, touch silver things etc. Even if you got tired of life you would still have ways out, so why not enjoy being super powerful for a while.

I would honestly take the offer of immortality so I could see how future generations of Tou-Bros turn out to be. If I ever got tired of living I could just run outside while it was sunny and eat a clove of garlic with a silver fork.

>> No.9804612

>>9804590
I'd like a self destruct option with my immortality so I can just blow myself up when I'm the only thing left in the void of the former universe.

>> No.9804634

Really, there aren't a lot of downsides to immortality as long as you can avoid being buried alive or launched into space or something.

If I ever become a vampire Touhou I'll make sure to bite any of my fellow /jp/sies who want it. Tea parties in /jp/ manor every night!

Immortality would be cool as long as I don't have to go through the process of dying and then regenerating everytime something fatal happens to me. Floating in space until the next big bang wouldn't be so bad then. I could daydream and stuff.

Imagine if this unverse was created due to an immortal being daydreaming through the void, triggering a chain reaction that started the big bang.

I thought the choices were vampirism/immortality OR mortal life, not vampirism OR immortality. Then again, anyone choosing to be a mortal would be fucking stupid.

It depends on if this universe has an 'end'. I don't want to spend eternity floating through a black void; I'd choose to die if there was nothing left to experience anymore. So, vampirism in that case. If the universe never ends and can therefore provide an endless amount of things for me to learn and do, then I'd choose immortality through the Hourai Elixir or whatever.

Doesn't the Hourai Elixir come with nifty features like, if you drown or get tossed into lava, you resurrect somewhere else?

They will probably die anyways in time, just like all the obsolete firms.

You will still need food to repair your cells. It will just make some medical treatments obsolete.

And I wouldn't worry about population growth. It will most likely continue to at the replacement rate. If we've found a cure for aging 20 years ago, then that would have been a problem. I don't think I would. Obtaining food would be too difficult and I wouldn't want to have to bite people or livestock, and there aren't any livestock here.
I would if I could go to the hospital and say "Hey, I'm a vampire and I don't want to have to hurt people, so can I pay you for 50 transfusion bags per week?".
