>> No.9798618

Yotsuba celebrated Halloween

>> No.9798626

Why is there always a christmas episode in anime but there's rarely halloween episodes?

>> No.9798627

Because you Americans have not YET managed to export your celtic satanism into other lands yet. Totally against the muslim traditions.

>> No.9798630

Because Halloween is a stupid holiday.

>> No.9798641

because they're stupid yellow monkey who can't appreciate fine American culture. we need to nuke those japs again to show them they better respect us.

God bless America

The americans didn't fuck them hard enough in world war 2 to have them also adopting halloween. I, for one, am sick of having my country's media trying to sell us the halloween idea.

>Why do japanese celebrate Christmas but not Halloween?

Not even other English-speaking countries are fully on board with the idea of Halloween yet, although it's been making inroads in recent years.

>> No.9798665

Shitty holiday only Americunts would like since they get free candy to stuff their faces.

But the japanese love cosplaying, crossdressing and dressing up.

Wouldn't holloween be popular in japan?

>> No.9798669

>>9798666
They already have thousands of conventions where they can do that.

>> No.9798677

Why don't you guys do masquerade?

>but not Halloween?
But they do.

IIRC, there was a protest in Japan because of it.

There are people who do, mostly hipsters who want to be cool and Western.

Anything western isn't cool. Go kill yourself.

how dare the japanese steal our television shows

Maybe because they force them down their throat like everything you do.

>> No.9798752

the americans ruin everything. I'll never catch a loli witch outside my church and do lewd things to her. she'll be sitting on her computer laughing at americans celebrating hallowe'en instead of taking part in the traditional haunt.

Hey Sean.
How your Japan cock sucking?

I've seen Christmas and I've seen Halloween. Never seen Easter. Why don't they celebrate Easter?

Go to church.
Come home.
Holiday.

>> No.9798871

Do you mean to tell me the Japanese don't hold services on Easter to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord?

>> No.9798874

You don't paint eggs or eat candy or do any of those other non-religions things? You a jehova witness?

>> No.9798889

>>9798804
Easter is a funny thing, because out of all the religious holidays that have died and been buried, this one sticks around, despite the fact that its celebration is completely unrelated to its intent.

>> No.9798982

Because oct 31 = dec...wait, wrong joke.

you mean that gaijin-only party on that train line that incommodes passengers?

>> No.9800266

I remember seeing an episode of some children's anime where easter was a theme one episode. One character asked the other "What's Easter?". They only had that episode because the mascot characters look like easter bunnies, I think. It was pretty cute since it's something you rarely see.

I think Halloween got more popular in the US compared to other western nations because our particular form of suburban sprawl and close concentrations of family units with children were ideal for trick-or-treating and things like that.

>> No.9800277

It's funny that halloween isn't as popular over there, since they seem to fucking love obake and shit.

>> No.9800294

They don't need Halloween, they have the obligatory test of courage/haunted house episode

>> No.9800336

>>9800294
That and Halloween is something mostly for kids. You'd either have to have an anime about little kids or just have some lame cosplay party.

Halloween is all about dressing like a slut and eating candy to get fat. Japanese aren't bi-pedal apes so they don't need to do any of that.
